I believe so - now it sounds like (at least in beverly hills), it's $75k per boutique if you want that particular boutique to place an SO for you

I feel this is a relatively new policy as my SA in Singapore mentioned something similar except with a higher cap. I think it depends on the market and demand where you’re located. I feel like this is part of their efforts to be more exclusive given the whole holiday pendant fiasco from 2 years ago and a surge in interest/demand. In a way I understand as it filters out clients who are passionate about the brand before they can be rewarded to make “requests” but I hate playing the game and I’m not sure why they cannot aggregate your spend across boutiques even if it’s in the same region. Sounds silly that you have to stick to one boutique only.

Agreed - I'm going to go with whichever boutique has the item I want in stock first!!!!

Sorry if this has already been answered, but I went to VCA today (in beverly hills) and they said that in order to special order, I have to spend $75k at ONE boutique - they will not combine how much I've spent across boutiques, which I found very shocking. Have other people been told the same or have other locations combined purchases across the US?

I feel like these “policies” are enforced on a case by case basis, probably mostly dependent on your relationship with your SA. I’m so over the misinformation. It might be for newer customers, which does suck. But I would guess if someone had spent say $30-$40k among various boutiques they probably wouldn’t give this reply. Just my theory tho.

Hi tenshix, I totally agree with you. If it's in the same region, I think VCA could have combined the total spend in the country.
Singapore is a very affluent country, so I wonder what VCA is putting as a cap for this market. If you don't mind, can you advise what is the cap at Singapore now? TIA.

I actually wonder if each boutique is only allocated certain SO slots (like Hermes), and now they have to restrict their SO slots only to loyal clients of the boutique...

I agree it’s probably case by case and way to enforce the spend requirement which is still 85k I believe. I only purchase from one boutique so no worries for me. I have SO request that I’m waiting to hear back on so I will ask my SA about this new one boutique spend.

I don’t remember exactly but I think it was something around 125k SGD or over? I would check with your SA to be sure since I wasn’t listening too closely or cared to remember lol

I causally asked recently and the figure given was more than that, and yes, it’s a one store only ‘policy’!
