Thanks so much! I keep looking at this design in other colors on resale sites bc I love the theme and design, but never pull the trigger because I think the delectables look best popping off the black. N best part, a white hem!!!! :yahoo:. But mine isn’t the SE. I see no color changes between the Hermes.com picture of SE and mine. Weird. must be subtle or something.

You're welcome! What does SE mean?

So sorry, “special edition”. Julide posted a special edition version link of patisserie Benefiting a charity in Hong Kong. Then I posted my regular release scarf so we could compare any differences in colors. I don’t see any difference, which is weird.
If you love my black one, I highly recommend owning it! It is one of my top ten that would come to a dessert island with me . Brings me so much joy wearing it. So fun.

I think I have one of these in brown and white (how can I resist chocolate and vanilla desserts?) and multi-color with a red border. Good choice, @Julide!

I happened to buy the red/multicolor one in Paris pre-pandemic. The SA was a tad opinionated and wanted me to get a Mountain Zebra. I stuck to the patisserie. The pastry in Paris is divine; don't know about their zebras.

I don’t own this design…I suspect in a few months I will be kicking myself and on a long expensive hunt…:p

Thanks @Julide for inspiring me to get a shot of this scarf for the Specialty Scarves collections.:flowers::flowers::flowers::flowers:
Thank you Eagle for providing this amazing design!:flowers:

Turns out this may be the actual colourway! I guess this is significantly different from the regular one.
Thanks for the heads up! :yw:

The story behind
Pierre Marie’s idea for this scarf came from the pages of a French cookery book published in 1873. Le Livre de pâtisserie was the fourth book by Jules Gouffé, the son a Parisian pastry chef famous for his pièces montées, whose shop was located on the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, a stone’s throw from the house of Hermès. Soon his talent had earned him the title of “the apostle of decorative cuisine”. For Pierre Marie, these beautiful delicacies, amassed in a kind of culinary daydream, were irresistible. Towers of almond paste, pistachio croquembouches, decorative cake stands, colored sugars, nougatine, dessert creams and choux buns form an extravagant decor that pays tribute to the illustrator’s boundless imagination. We hope that a caring community can also bring lots of sweetness to people's lives.

Thanks for the heads up! :yw:

Dear all,
I am just very happy to share this find from H sale in London this year. I didn’t get the scarf in 2015, like an idiot, but the fate threw me another bone in form of this “Dans un Jardin Anglais” special edition for half of the price (and with half of the sale stamp, haha) at the sale. I am just so proud of myself for spotting it on the rails of the green section! Does anybody have a booklet for it for any chance I am curious which charity they gave the money to?

also, is it ok if I share some of my special edition scarves I got recently?

What a great find. I believe that this scarf was a special edition for the reopening of the New Bond Street store and only available there.
