HAC40, black evergrain w/ black woolycot (wool+cotton?) canvas and PHW. The leather grain is quite small on this bag making it look almost like boxcalf from a distance. Yet another black bag but, so what? :P

@Prada Prince , you are a shot of sunshine! I also think you would look great in the Prada blue RTW pattern behind you :)

DH’s ebene H zip cargo pants and charcoal gray H contrast stitch Saint Germaine pants (H brings back the Saint Germaine style every season with different twists); Charvet MtM shirts; duret matte alligator belts. So Kelly elan and Edward Green 202 last Chelsea boots. Tall model, olive suede, double loop

ETA: got the men’s size 38 pants back from alteration (pic is post alteration). They are super comfy (airplane comfy) due to the half elastic waist back and the closure is a self belt. The buckle goes over the button. Highly recommend if you don’t mind the half elastic back. DH refuses bc he tucks in.

I had the leg and butt taken in and slimmed. Also the pants shortened. (Post alternation I cannot find the fabric composition tag but it’s a sturdy cotton with a refined texture). I believe 1350USD with complimentary alteration.
My new favorite pants. The pics below look gray, but they are more dark cool green IRL

Re MtM pants, H has to approve your pants fabric choice, but it’s my understanding that it is basically a check to make sure they have the pants fabric. In other words, if you have a favorite pair of H pants, but you would love it in a color that is available in a different or prior pants model, they can probably do it for 30% more. Though this is not cheap, it might be worth it if you must have a pair in etoupe that only came in noir, bleu. Etc.

ETA: my SA and DH think they would be cute with the snap opened at the cuff and a chunky boot like the Jaimy. I think that look would be fabulous on men or women

Hi all, figured just at give an update as I’ve finally seen and got the bolide messenger and its actually a very nice-sized bag (and while at the store, my SA surprised me with a Birkin 30 Vert Mangrove, but I’ll save that for a later post haha).

The size of the Messenger is similar to the lady’s bolide 25, or the previous one with the skateboard base, and inside, you get one side compartment. The thick canvas strap is adjustable but not removable, and overall, its a good city bag as you get to fit in most essentials, even a small mini ipad. My color is Caban and again, I really love how Hermes does its colored leathers - it looks like black under dark or colored lighting, but when you put it under the sunlight, the blue hue of Caban shows up. The only fault I have is that there are no studs at the base of the bag (unlike the Petit Courrier), so the Togo leather can get scruff easily from abrasion and wear.
