Hermes cashmere turtleneck and jaimy short boots, 45R denim jeans from Japan
Love the turtleneck! Does your husband wear the same shirt size in both short and long sleeve? I’m curious because my short sleeve T and polo are both XS (despite me being a M in almost every other shirt I own). My SA invited me to try some RTW from the summer collection, and I saw a long sleeve polo I’d like but was worried an XS would fit everywhere but the sleeves. We’re going with a regular S for trying on purposes to be safe. Thanks!
Thanks. I don’t think he has any (cotton knit ) t shirts or polos from Hermes. He’s a 16.5 button down; medium sweater; 48 suit if that helps….
I will say that the H t shirts we’ve seen on the hanger or in runway pics have not appealed to him bc they seem very boxy, oversized, so the fact that you sized down to an xs doesn’t surprise. If you size back up to a small for longer sleeve length, you might ask about tapering the body.
Hermes will tailor knitwear down (he has a knit cardigan that he had altered*), and the fit is better than one that he bought off the rack. (Don’t recall the price differential though). I believe that @cravin has more experience with MtM knitwear, so tagging him
ETA: * he bought a cardigan off the rack that he liked in gray. Our SA told us that his size didn’t come into stock yet in navy, but that H offered the same model in MtM, so he decided to try it out. The MtM one is more flattering (enough to make a difference if one really cares, but probably not enough that someone else who saw him in both could tell the difference)

I actually did not end up getting the double monk straps - in the end I decided I really wanted the Izmir sandles instead of another pair of shoes. Still breaking them in, though.
I just got my first Birkin 30 in Vert Fonce and can’t wait to see how this beautiful shade moves and changes along with the lighting on a day out! Pardon the very UNglamorous photo I took with it in my hotel bathroom as that’s the only place where there’s a full length mirror! 😆
Initially, I wanted a classic black in 35, but when I previously saw this color in Seoul on display (the SA do not even allow my request to remove it from display to see it up close), i was so intrigued by how the color changes as you view it from different angles with the light, AND! The boutique I went to only has a 30, which I can just buy on the spot (with spending thrown in as well, though, but still, it’s a birkin on the spot! So I just jumped on the opportunity).
However, I am unsure if the size 30 is a bit too small on my frame, but I have a feeling that the 35 would be a bit too big for every day use!!
Oh, and I also saw the Maxi Kelly in the boutique and tried it on. Was actually almost buying this before the SA said that there is a Birkin! It looks OK on my frame, but it is so heavy and a bit too big in real life in my opinion.

Question for the guys and gals of DHs here. I saw the Ultrapla 24 (without the zip) and thought that could be a good option instead of the Kelly depeches 25, for me. Do any of you have it and what are your thoughts?
I think the bag is too thin. If you put anything in it, it bulges the leather outward, but in a lumpy way. Contents also stretch out the bag.

Congratulations! Carry whatever makes you happy. I personally feel the B35 would suit your proportions better and the Kelly maxi does not at all look large on your frame. Since it comes with a thick strap, I don't find the weight of the bag to be an issue.
