Part 2 of bag size comparisons: So, I realized that my K42 is actually not 42cm...!! :panic:

For some reason, I think everyone assumes that K42 is a 42cm... but, it is not....? When I measured the sizes on my own, it ranged from 38 cm to 40 cm actually. (Please see the first 2 pictures.)

Did I measure it wrong? I hope not, because my KD36 exactly says it's 36 cm (as shown in the 3rd picture).

So, is my K42 actually bigger than the K40? I have no idea. Any idea? 🧐

I am also sharing the pictures of my K42 vs. Herbag 39 size comparison (#04 to 07).
Interesting! So the k42 may possibly be smaller than k40 in some way

Yes. Or, I was thinking that maybe K42 (Maxi Kelly) is just a newer version of K40....?
This is my K40 compared to Jypsy 37 both in Alezan. Sorry, pictures are not great as I copied them from my Insta. Funny, they do not differ much in their size but Jypsy is my working horse while Kelly was out of her box for a couple of times at most as it's too big for me. P.s. And even more funny that I have shoulder K 42 in Alezan that I wore once! as it is obviously too big for my 164 height as well :-) But I am obsessed with Alezan colour so figure it out :-)

I can understand that, because although they are a similar size and the same hide, they are lovely but very different bags. Obviously the Jypsière falls in better with your lifestyle.
Shown side by side the Kelly looks so much more formal (and it is) compared with the softer more casual messenger style of the Jypsière. I would suggest although the K42 is large, it is the style that determines your use rather the size.

I love both of your bags, and the Alezan color is truly beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pictures and thoughts. 😊

This is a great point and I agree with this.

Our growing collection of bracelets… husband’s favorite color is orange so you can guess which 3 are his. I’ll most likely get him the orange clic HH bandana for a future gift and then we’ll be even again  I’m trying to be a equal opportunist when it comes to wearing mine, except for the Kelly chaine which only comes out on more special occasions. How do you like the Kelly chaine, there is one that can be a necklace or a double wrap bracelet that I’ve had my eye on but haven’t been able to see in person yet. Also, love the CDC24 on you. I wonder if if would fit my wrist? I rarely use my cdc bracelets and it’s the only thing that I debate selling. I realize the original cdc is too big on me and I don’t wear it as much because I feel I need to take off other bracelets and wear that by itself.

Thanks! I really love the Kelly chaine, it’s probably my favorite bracelet even though I wear it less often than the others. It’s silver but I haven’t had problems with tarnishing. I bought a silver rinse that I used once a month or so.

The CDC is my my husband’s. I don’t think you would have a size issue, it’s adjustable (and may come in 2 sizes?). It’s also not so wide that you couldn’t stack it with another bracelet. I like to stack the Kelly chaine and a clic HH on myself.

Edit: he has the T3 and there are multiple sizes, I checked the receipt and website.

I’ll have to try on the next time I’m in the store. T3 is usually a little too small, but I’ll see if they make T4. I’ve had a chaine d’Ancre bracelet for over ten years and you’re right, I just use silver cloth every so often to freshen it up.
