I think both would absolutely work on you, but personally I'd just go with what fits your needs and aesthetic the best. I'm 184cm or 6 feet which is pretty tall for a woman and I used to carry huge bags because I thought it just looks more proportional, which was such a ridiculous choice on my part, I now only go with what really fits my needs and my aesthetic and 25s and 30s fit the bill the best for me. And most men don't carry their kitchen sink so a smaller bag totally makes sense. ☺️
I’ve dug your post but your reasoning is similar to mine. I’m a woman, your height but not as slim 😭 and just collected B25 which is perfect for what I need it for. Everybody told me you have to carry big bags due to proportions but where to really?

I think the proportion scenario is kinda outdated. And let's be honest by the amount of money we spend on bags the bag has to fit our needs and lifestyle not the other way around. Besides what's the point of carrying a large half empty bag?

This is my first long-sleeve sweater from Hermes. (I bought it earlier this year.) The last 2 pictures are from the website. Reference number is H367090HA02LA. I wear a medium size.

Actually I was about to say it’s not just the proportion of the bag to your height/size. I think it also matters how you style it; when you put a whole look together there are a lot of proportions going on. I think you could style a big oversized coat with an oversized bag or a mini one but it depends on what else is going on. (says she who wears whatever she wants to )

Wow I love that sweater!! I only have one shirt from H, a black t shirt that I’m always afraid to wear and somehow ruin lol. One of my coziest pieces is my new beanie though. Sad that I bought it at the end of winter. Pictured with bonus eclipse necklace (sadly backwards in the pic, dang it) which I wore for the eclipse here in TX yesterday! 😃IMG_8069.jpegIMG_9171.jpeg

Wow. Is that Hermes t-shirt still on the website? If so, can I know the details? Your beanie (together with necklace) looks great on you as well. I am very excited to see more guys with Hermes items. :)

Yep - I found the item number in the receipt and found it on the site. It’s call the Hermes Fit T. H800731E.

And thank you 😊 😊

That is my favorite hat ever. I have the green and tan one. It feels like it’s made of angel hair it’s so soft.

Guys,

How much is a Kelly 40 in store at the moment?
I can't find anything online...

To my knowledge (via conversation with my SA), Kelly 40 was discontinued but is available through HSS order (or special order). Instead of K40, K42 was newly introduced in FW2023. Kelly 42 was introduced as "limited edition," so the stocks are limited to date. K42 costs $20,300 before taxes in the US. So, I assume that K40 would be similar or lower than this? Hope this helps!
