I have been trying to get those shoes forever! How/where did you manage to find them?
Saw the new 42 ‘maxi Kelly’ today at Madison Ave boutique. Larger size Kelly (42 cm) with canvas strap. Pretty typical Kelly except for the fact it comes with a rear zip pocket attached. Kind of like the ‘extra pocket’ you can buy for the birkin but this one is sown into the body of the bag. It extends slightly from the back of the bag unlike the Kelly lakis where the exterior zip pockets are flush with the sides of the bag. If forgot to take photos - I could get into it in a darker/neusteal color - the one in display was a very light gold color - more yellow than gold - the SA didn’t know the color. Billed as a ‘Kelly for men’. $19K in Togo leather so a big investment. Wasn’t a fan of the color but loved the bag. I have a k40 Lakis and a big K50:’travel Kelly’. The travel Kelly is definately a travel bag. The K42 could be a great everyday bag. A little wider but shorter than the HAC birkin - the shoulder strap is nice to have! Added to my wish list and i’d sell the K40 is a 42 came my way . SA said US stock for this and new Kelly Messenger was basically non existent in the US as of now. Displaying bags to draw interest/wish list ads but didn’t expect offers to be extended for awhile until more stock arrived

Question: Do you know if Hermes still produces Birkin 40 these days? Is it relatively easy to get it from NY Madison? I checked out B35 and B40 and learned that B40 is the perfect one for me.
My brand new Kelly Messenger PM Noir in evergrain. It’s perfect for me. Will take it out next weekend out on the town but already love it.
