Question: Do you know if Hermes still produces Birkin 40 these days? Is it relatively easy to get it from NY Madison? I checked out B35 and B40 and learned that B40 is the perfect one for me.

My SA told me last month that they are not producing the B40 anymore.

I am suspicious though tbh. because nobody here was able to confirm.

There was a large B in dark brown on the women fashion show the other day and I could swear this was a size 40…

My SA told me about 6 months ago that the B40 is no longer being produced.
My suspicion is its being 'rested' in order to ramp production on the more 'popular' sizes.
In fact he said they haven't even had a 35 delivered in months.
This is in London BTW

I got a B40 this past March (I'm based in NY). It is my understanding that very few people request a B40 so most stores get very few, if any.

There was what appears to be a B40 in black box at the women's SS24 after show this past week so fingers crossed it hasn't been rested!

I was thinking about this too, when I read the other day, that they did not change the sheet for fall and continue to use the one from spring.

Did you actually chose a B40 or did you just see it? Given that there was no update on the document, it might actually be not an option anymore.

It’s a bit loose fitting but credit cards definitely fit in the side pockets.

Did anyone get a maxi Kelly 42? I was offered for it but the color is a little light for me, still thinking if I should take it. Size is perfect and it’s a very good size between my 50 and 35… Anyone already using it and could share some comment on it?
