Any guys have any Kelly 32's?
What's been your experience with them? Love them, hate them? Carry them casually, or only formally?

Any mod shots?
Offered a Kelly 32 in Caban color recently but rejected it.

It's nice bag, and I was very tempted to accept it.
It's look good sitting itself but I would say it does not match my lifestyle
(1) it cannot carry "many" things - I would like to have a bag that can be used for both work (32 is too small) and leisure.
(2) it looks a bit small to me as I am not thin - the portion is not quite right
(3) not a fan of thin leather strap although it can be replaced

My dream bag is a kelly 35 gold color but SA told me seems there is no shipment to my place recently. I was also offered Kelly 40 quite some time ago but rejected but it's too large on the other hand.

This is insightful. So the Kelly 32 is no longer in production, right?

And now the only ones in production are the 28, 35 and 40?

I thihk all in production - just 25, 28, 32 are more popiular sizes (women and small bags are more dominant in market).

35/40 I think the demand is limited so correspondingly, less demand from each shop and less production.

Hi, I have a Kelly 32 R in Black Box and find it's one of my most used bags.

I use it casually as I find it too big to be formal. Yet, as @kumahermes also said, it's a bit too small to carry what I need for work.
I'm particularly short at 5'4", so your mileage may vary, but I find it a lovely size without it veering too much into messenger bag territory. I think it's a fantastic option for an everyday, casual-carry bag.

I tend to carry on the shoulder, but have used handheld and crossbody to great satisfaction. I find it sportier with a shorter and wider strap, so I use a wide canvas strap most often.

In my personal experience, it's great to carry all these at once:
  • A mid-sized book (please leave your hardcover copy of The Count of Monte Cristo and War and Peace at home - though I HAVE carried them),
  • Full sized wallet, or small clutch,
  • Extra pouch for keys/chargers/airpods/travel fragrance/handcream et.al,
  • iPad mini/kindle if you're into that.
I would not expect to carry an extra sweater or anything like that. Nor would I carry a laptop.
Over-ear headphones can fit. A DSLR can fit. A microwave will not fit. None of these would I carry, but it's your bag.

All that said, put me in the "Love It" camp. I find it so practical for my life that I bought a second K32R that has yet to arrive.

Thanks---I am 6'1", so now thinking if the K32 will be too small or look too awkward. And I assuming the shoulder strap will definitely be too short for me to carry as crossbody. :-s

Glad to help! I think a K32 would look on you as a K28 would look on me. Small, but not mini.
(Which I find to be a strange limbo-like size - not very good at being dinky and cute, but not quite large enough to command good presence.)

And yes, the strap will probably be too small to crossbody.

Thanks---any suggestions on a nice hefty crossbody strap in leather (or in canvas, that preserves the aesthetic of the Kelly)?

I was also thinking of the Kelly Depeches 38 (the legacy one, before they changed it to this new messy design).

Just wonder if Kelly Depeches 38 is an option, why not consider getting a birkin 35?
