DH just ordered his first custom shirt (Cross post from latest purchases and M2M thread) Starts at 1100 USD, but bc he wants some details changed and added, SA estimates 1600USD to be paid in full as soon as H confirms our order is approved. The muslin or toile pattern takes 2 months. When it arrives there can be additional adjustments to fit. Then three months more for the finished garment. This is significantly more expensive than Turnbull NY full bespoke (I think 600 USD) or charvet, Paris (maybe 700 per shirt. But at Charvet, DH has MtM with ample tweaking as charvet said he didn’t need custom ).

But, unlike Turnbull or charvet, DH deliberately chose a fabric and details for a more fashion piece than straight sartorial. If it comes out perfectly (at this price, perfection is expected), it will be the first of many. Subsequent shirts will take 3 months since the pattern is already made. ETA: the fabric is like marron fonce with microscopic h‘s. (We couldnt tell until we were told the pattern was comprised of mini H‘s lol. He also wants a contrast band in a black and white fine pinstripe, so when the shirt is buttoned you only see a tiny bit. And, I think that same contrast on the inner cuff.

Not for DH, but if any of you guys would like custom silk scarf shirts, they are beautiful. But much more expensive. You have to buy 5 silk Scarves from an approved list and then about 2K more for labor. So about 4.5K USD. There is a special thread for M2M clothing. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/m2m-hermes-rtw.1056259/page-4 Here is an example our SA sent that I think would be a great fashion shirt for either men or women:

Amazing! I didn’t not know that Hermes offers custom shirts. Is this a service available in all boutiques and for all customers or is it more like being able to place a SO for a QB?

Anyone can order one, but I believe you might have to go to a flagship that has the program. @cravin might know

incidentally, if your home boutique is in the same city as a flagship, your SA can meet you there
(I learned this from a friend)

We shop in NYC now. Our SA made us an appointment at Madison Ave. for me to get measured and he met us there. Seamstress came out to measure me and the selections were pretty great. You can get suits, shirts, sweaters, etc. Now that my measurements are in the system, I don’t have to go to Madison Ave again. I can just order what I wish and it will be shipped to our SA. 50% down and 50% payment when item arrives. I’m waiting for my first item and they said August or September so I cannot tell you if it fits like a glove yet, but the measurements were very thorough.

You can see the offerings here: https://www.hermes.com/us/en/content/102271-bespoke-men/

Hello gents!

Newbie to all things Hermes and need some help.

I was browsing the site and saw a herbag 39 in messenger form. Does anyone have this bag and can give some input on the durability of the canvass and leather?

What do you guys think of it and is it too big for an everyday bag for work? Any mod shots?

Thanks I’m advance!

Hi!

I saw the same bag online and was super tempted. I didn't buy it because I want a smaller Hermes bag now, but I love how they placed the strap on the ends instead of beside the top handle. If you want a bag this size, then I suggest getting it.

Likewise. It looked GREAT. Didn't pull the trigger myself, but have been wondering why it stays on the website for a day+ when everything sells out in seconds

I like GPSs videos and he has one dedicated to the Herbag:

Summary: you can even wash it!

There is also a dedicated thread here „Herbag questions“ which might give you further insights.

Thank for the details. Need to find out if Hermes offers this in Germany too

Also tempted also and like the strap at the end too.
This one also looks shorter than the regular version. I suppose with all things Hermes is not to hesitate and order since things disappear so fast?

I was wondering the same thing too why it stays for a little while when everything sells out so fast. I didn’t know if this was a super new style or if it is not sought after? Thanks again!

I saw a different video and great review. Washable and can even get out a bubble tea if spilt! Sounds like a pretty awesome canvass.

I also saw everything is removable and you can swap parts is you have a second bag. It got me thinking if Hermes sells a larger/longer canvass bag to flip the top part into something that looks like a HAC40?

That’s the one for me, thank you! Unfortunately unavailable in the USA website right now.

Hi! They uploaded some today (or very recently?)! Gorgeous blue royal included

By the way, I'm not sure how this is different than the Citizen Twill
