I secretly tried on DH's blazer and it's an oversized fit but somewhat works if that the look I want, just need to roll up the sleeves

So the MTM jacket is not fully custom, he got to pick the fabric/buttons but not the style/fit. Our store only participated in the event but doesn't have MTM regularly. Maybe if a store provides this service year round would be able to do so.
I would love an oversized blazer with pop scarf lining. Oh geeez where would I even begin with scarf selection

Does anyone know if they have this service in Paris- specifically at Sevres?
I do not shop at Sevres so please update us if you find out. MTM was offered for many years permanently at the Women's Pret a Porter department in FSH. There was a rack of all the possible Twillaines displayed and the SAs would show you the designs available including tunics, dresses and shirts. It was not available when I last asked my SA in December 2019 and I haven't thought to check during my last two recent visits. It's probably likely Menswear offer it now, they definitely do MTM suits.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this! You pick the most amazing designs     :drinks::drinks::drinks::drinks:
congrats! I am so thrilled for you! Do you think you will wear this loose as a shirt jacket over a tank or t shirt or as a traditional blouse? dressy? Casual?
Apologies for the not great pic. I just don’t have the knack of taking mod shots the way you do @880. Your mod shots always display your outfits so well. Using my shirt here as a traditional blouse.

I was just told, in the event one wants a current piece of RTW, but cannot find it in the boutiques or via worldwide search,
there may be an option to special order one. But, it’s a 30% surcharge over retail. And of course, subject to approval.
This was in the context of my DH expressing disappointment that a RTW bomber jacket in black watch plaid techno fabric, that was ostensibly ordered by NY, never arrived at the boutique. He had expressed interest, and his name was put down for the size required. So, the offer to special order was made, but he declined. But, I do have a feeling that H will be more inclined to approve a special order that arises from a previously promised garment, esp. if it’s in mens RTW.

ETA: since DH refused, I don’t know if special order is MtM, but it’s certainly not bespoke. Nor does it seem to be quite regular RTW. . .

I asked my RTW SA at FSH about doing a made to measure shirt when I visit and he said it would be possible. Although he said there is only one cut available, men's style, but it would be chic he said. :) Any tips or suggestions?? Things you wish you thought about when you ordered it, now that you've been able to wear it? I've never done this before, but I love how your shirt turned out @DoggieBags, and the examples in other posts in this thread as well! TIA!

One piece of advice from a couple of male friends who have done MTM shirts before was to wear your largest watch (if you wear watches) to your cotton pattern fitting so they can adjust the cuff to fit over your watch. I happen to sometimes wear large, thick men’s watches like Lange & Sohne and it hadn’t occurred to me to adjust the cuff for the wrist that I wear my watches on until my friends reminded me.
I hope you have a great experience ordering your shirt(s) and look forward to seeing pics in the future

M2M Hermes shirt. I have been meaning to post but always forget to take a pic. I selected this shirt in a “boxy” fit for a casual fit with jeans or can also tuck in.
I opted for spacious sleeves to ensure o have space for on top of sweaters as well.

Edited to add 1. I’m wearing jeans with it and 2. Dust everywhere due to construction project.
