DH got this waxed cotton jacket in Singapore. This is his first or second time wearing it (with custom Turnbull shirt and brunello jeans). Madison didn’t have the jacket in this material.

And, I just fell in love with this racing bolide 45. If only it came in a 30/31 and didon’t cost a fortune. . .If anyone on this thread has one, I would love to see action pics if you are so inclined!

ETA: if anyone’s den or man cave needs a cute little stool with storage, this is amazing. The Padded seat slides over the toile leather storage compartment, and you can carry the seat from room to room with the strap. I don’t have the reference number or name, but it’s about 17K USD.

if anyone likes a 32 plume for carrying work stuff, here is a fabulous one on eBay, for about 6144 USD. Waffle dwiche (sp?)

Love that plume!!!!!!! I wonder if it is big enough to carry a laptop...

You will get used to the closure.
I tend to put the sangles on the Turn-lock without twisting it shut so the bag is secure but easier to get in and out of.
Or I put the sangles onto the turn-lock UNDER the flap then just pop the flap over it.
I dont use an insert or shaper because its a casual slouchy style.
Enjoy using it!
Mine's a 31 next on my list is a 28
I will try this! I’ve also tucked the flap inside the bag and put the sangles on that turn lock, or let them hang so I don’t have to worry about the flap . Definitely not the most secure but works for everyday travel. I did order a shaper just because I’m scared of scratching the interior but that may just end off on the shelf once I get over the fright of scratching the bag. Loving it so far and it’s an awesome size- definitely recommend!

Hermes mens cargos. SA and I also thought that the zipper detail was cute on the jacket
and pants together, even when seated which puts the zipper detail on both items in closer proximity

first jacket in black waxed cotton (DH’s own, worn standing and seated, pics 1,4)
second jacket with contrast color (DH decided not to purchase, pic 3)*
cargo pants (DH purchased in ebene, in all pics); ordered from his SA online in plomb
There was also a dark olive green cargo pant, (I forgot to take a pic) but he did not purchase
shirt is custom Turnbull & Asser, (NY location is more amenable to less sartorial custom)
he prefers the jacket and pants not to match, so he mixes noir and ebene and plomb

ETA: if the second jacket had been navy, not black, he would have purchased it
(it looked navy on the mannequin)

I like them. They remind me of the very nice zip cargo pants from Marithe + Francois Girbaud of the 90's <3

The jacket is really good; extremely wearable, subtle. Again, excellent with the pants in tandem, not overdone. Nadege and Nachanian should have lunch together on the regular….or maybe it’s just my own stylistic bias commenting…. :flowers:

Thanks. It’s odd that Nachanian is 67. Some of her collection is louche wearable. And some is louche street, which, at a certain age, is not so wearable. Still, there seems to be something for everyone. Nadege still designs for the thin, tall, and long limbed (why I can only find a few sweaters lol) among us though :-s

Hi everyone! I’m seeking some advice on my next bag purchase. I currently own a B35 which I got from my SA late last year. I absolutely love it, but it isn’t the most convenient for daily use in my crowded city given that it is a strictly hand-carry bag (unless, that is, I get my hands on one of those controversial Birkin harnesses). My next wish is for a K32 or 35, which my SA indicated he could find relatively quickly. I ultimately want something that I can wear shoulder and crossbody on a daily basis (I would absolutely order a longer canvas strap for it). I am 6ft for reference, and tend to wear neutral, boxy clothes from brands like Acne Studios, The Row, H rtw, and Issey Miyake.

As I’m waiting, I’ve started to consider that maybe I should instead ask for a different style, like a Mini Lindy, Geta, or C18, as these would introduce both a new style and size into my collection that I can wear with more ease day-to-night. If I did this, I would put getting a Kelly aside for a year or two, as two bags in the span of a year is plenty!

Do any of you, especially those closer to my height, have experience with these other styles? I’ve been offered a few TPMs, and they are just far too tiny for my taste, so I’m hoping the ML, Geta, or C18 are more substantial.

Should I forget the idea and just stick to my K32/35 wish? Thank you, and apologies for the long post!

I think you should stick to your K32/35, and then eventually get one of the other ones. I'm eyeing the mini Jypsiere, but after I get a Birkin (if that ever happens).
