other tpf'ers - has there even been a signature coach with a detachable longer strap? for one that you would normally carry in your hand

I'm really starting to think knockoff, I've looked through all of the fall bags for the last 3 years and there's nothing even close. hmmmmmm

this is all i can really do to help you:

NEVER BE AFRAID TO ASK ABOUT A BAG!

next time you see someone carrying a bag you like ask them about it, talk to them about it!

a simple "i love your bag where did you get it" starts you off on the right foot, period. don't be shy, you have to be agressive in the purse world to get your bags girlfriend!

Thanks for the advice, I think I've learned my lesson... she was being rung up and talking to her friend, but I could have followed her out or waited, and been more agressive.. I have learned from this mistake!! :yes:

Because you said it had the turnlocks, it sounds like the Mandy but in a different color. I suppose you could extend the strap but the color combo doesn't sound right.

Yeah, it looked almost exactly like that. I am thinking with the long strap and the color it must have been a fake.. oh well. Thanks so much for all of your help, I really appreciate it!! You guys are the best!! :yahoo:
