SOLIA iron owners/experts - help!

HELP!!!!!!!

just received my iron yesterday and when I opened the package and examined the iron, it looks old/used and there were marks around the edges. Overall, it looks used and dirty. I also looked at the manual and it had the picture of the swivel free power cord with safety plug, but I did not get that. I also noticed that the setting was already pre-set at 370 degrees? I thought it was suppose to be at 140 to begin with. is this normal? ( i ordered from folica.com)

I believe I have been sent a pre-owned iron that had been sent back to their company?? I might be wrong...im a newbie to Solia & folica.com.

I just didn't think that my iron would look so dirty and used. I ordered thinking that I would receive a brand new iron but instead I got a dirty looking iron.

Please let me know what you know.

It does look dirty. Mine does not have the safety plug though, just a reg old plug like your's. (I have the pink version though) I think you should send it back and ask for a new one.

yeah i been trying to get a hold of their customer service but i havent gotten any response!!!!!! what kind of business is this!?!

Yeah, it does look scuffed up. I bought a solia from folica as well, but that was two years ago... and it was in perfect condition. Have you tried it out yet? Does it work?

i did try it out...it was not what i expected.....i returned it today.

I'm thinking about getting the FHI.

what do you think??
