I totally agree. I'm completely anti-troll in forums and am definitely not interested in arguing - but really there is no room for discussion about this being against rules here at tPF.
I say this because I found this thread while doing a search about some tPF Marketplace scams.

Technically this entire thread should be deleted. It is a blatant advertisement. This was "Idle purse chat". She can't post the auction number but she can advertise that she's selling it when it happens to be the only one on ebay and phrased in her title the exact way she posted it here? This doesn't make sense.
I'm normally pretty nice but this definitely goes against some rules.
To the OP, this is not good practice to be done here. Tho I applaud your taste also, great bags you chose.

I agree. It was a thinly veiled promo. NOt only that, but it sold within 24 hours!! At the same time, there was another identical bag with a starting bid $20 lower. I would love to post a "I'm so sad to sell my XXXXX" and sell it pronto...but my conscience won't let me. The mods need to stop this.

:back2topic: If you are happier with the stripe tote and french purse then you made the right decision. I personally could never part with my pond shoulder bag...its soooooooo me.
