You know I applaud you for apologizing that your comment came across as harsh. On another note: For the past couple weeks I have seen some really rude and unnessacery comments posted by a few members - you ARE NOT one of those people by the way - and I just don't understand why. We are all here to talk openly about our love of fashion - all styles, prices, brands - we don't have the right to criticize or personally attack each other! Just my 2 cents.

Oh, that picture in your sig made me drool.... no shoes, no shirt, no problems....

sorry to get off the subject here but Kenny's pretty hot in that pic, Have fun at the concert!!!!:yahoo:

When I was pregnant with my first baby there was a gal on my pregnancy forum that said she was having Kenney Chesney's love child. I swear - she kept up her story the whole 9 months.....I wonder what happend to her.

OK, I may be going out on a limb here but why should I feel bad that she has decided that she loves the Legacy Oxford Tote plus accessories more than the Legacy shoulder bag? And I may be a newbie but wasn't this post merely and advertisement for her auction? I will say that both bags are gorgeous and I applaud her good taste.

I totally agree. I'm completely anti-troll in forums and am definitely not interested in arguing - but really there is no room for discussion about this being against rules here at tPF.
I say this because I found this thread while doing a search about some tPF Marketplace scams.

Technically this entire thread should be deleted. It is a blatant advertisement. This was "Idle purse chat". She can't post the auction number but she can advertise that she's selling it when it happens to be the only one on ebay and phrased in her title the exact way she posted it here? This doesn't make sense.
I'm normally pretty nice but this definitely goes against some rules.
To the OP, this is not good practice to be done here. Tho I applaud your taste also, great bags you chose.

I also do not want to argue, but I tend to agree with mlowran. When I first read this post, it made me feel a little funny. Obviously, this is an audience that has an interest in the OP's auction. And, when members of the forum read her post we are going to search eBay for her auction, even when the number was removed. So, she gets a lot of "hits" from people who have interest in her item. It just doesn't seem quite right to me.

I sell on eBay, items from my own collection like many people on here. I would not feel it was fair for me to post a thread on here saying "Wow, I really feel bad that I have to sell XXXXXXX that I just listed on eBay." This is just asking members to look at my auction!

And now OP has another post where she says I have XXXXXX, XXXXX, and XXXXX for sale on eBay. IMHO, this should not be allowed. It goes against the spirit of the tPF rules.

I saw that too. :shrugs:
I usually stick to the LV forums. Maybe things don't work the same on this side of tPF but this would SO not be allowed over in LV. They'd wipe that thread pronto.
