well people have said to avoid the ones with the datecode ending 3 or 4 because the red lining tends to bleed...is this for both 2003 and 2004 or just 2003 coz im kinda confused..unfortunately the ones ive seen on ebay are either ending in 3 or 4..? help?

They bleed on the ones made in 2003 through early in 2005. The datecodes ending in 3 are from 2003 and the ones ending in 4 are from 2004, it you just keep looking you can usually find newer ones but they are rare on ebay. You could also just find one that hasn't bleed on the front pocket.....

Sometimes in eBay the mc speedy's are still priced high,around 1500-1900$...Add a few hundreds more and buy from the store so you can be sure of no bleeding.

yep totally agree might as well have your own memories with your own bag

Definitely get one 06 or later...the bleeding probs had been fixed by then. Unless you can live with the stains it will be hassle to get the bag fixed. I agree with everyone else here, too. Some of the used MC Speedies on ebay go high$$$ and it makes sense to save up a little longer & just get it at the boutique.
