I love the bracelet and am putting it on exactly the way you described. Sometimes the little circle thing just can’t quite slip into the clasp... but I’m gonna keep practicing till it gets easier! I am wondering about the pave 5 motif vintage bracelet. I thought it would be easier to put on without a dangly motif weighing it down making it slide. Plus pave makes it more carefree so I don’t have to take it off and put on all the time. I could leave it on, shower and go to sleep if I can’t be bothered... may I ask what makes the vintage bracelet harder to put on? I’d have considered the magic pave bracelet if not for the price. At the rate they are going I’m thinking it’s getting ridiculously overpriced.

I think the trick is to keep the bracelet very still so the circle/ hoop doesn't move when you try to hook it onto the lobster clasp. Practicing will make it perfect!:smile: Also, my Magic bracelet is a tiny smidgen longer than the Vintage so maybe that's why it's easier to put it on. Is yours quite loose or tight once it's on? Mine are on the slightly tighter side but there's still enough room to facilitate putting them on.

My 5-motif is the pave WG. I don't wear it that much and yes I agree that it's hugely overpriced. In fact, I was planning on getting the WG Perlee Clover but changed my mind at the last minute, which was a mistake!!:sad:

My wrists aren’t big either so they shortened it by 3cm (six 2 link chains removed). It has enough space to slide up and down without being too loose. When I first removed 2cm it was still almost halfway down my hand so the dangly motif was smacking around at things a lot. I love this bracelet design the most but I find the pave price of this design ridiculous. For the same price I can literally get the pave 5 motif vintage PLUS the clover perlee bangle! Crazy! I understand if it was a very substantial piece but because the motifs are so spaced out, the price doesn’t seem to match the bling effect it should be conjuring...
I’m thinking I might have your problem with the pave vintage WG bracelet then, because mine will have to be shortened. And I like the fact that they can be shortened because then I can see more of the motifs when closer together. Do you mind taking pictures of your vintage pave bracelet vs your perlee clover one? I am on the fence between these two because the bangle sometimes look good on me but other times do nothing.

My sentiments exactly!!

Re the Magic pave bracelet, it is actually VERY blingy but the price is so ridiculous!! I think/ I am fairly sure I will end up getting the Perlee Clover in WG eventually. I may sell my 5-motif pave or I may just wear it stacked with something else (not sure yet what). I had a Sweet 6-motif pave and instead of selling it, I should have kept it to stack with the 5-motif.

Here are pics of the WG 5-motif and the Perlee Clover in RG:

Hmmm, even though we are comparing different golds here, it feel like the clover bangle has a bit more presence. We've just had a price increase recently and everything that I've been contemplating looks less palatable now. I cannot believe 2 years ago the magic alhambra bracelet (the one we own) was almost half the price it is now! I somehow also feel like VCA is no longer on the forefront of creating wearable, whimsical, enchanting pieces anymore. I feel they are just overextending old designs, playing on the limitation of a certain stone color or gold color and making offerings that are more and more generic. I love what they used to be, and might just get one or two more pieces before moving on. I feel a little sad as I adored what the brand used to be.

The Perlee Clover definitely has more presence, which is the main reason why I regret not getting one in WG (instead of the 5-motif).

I share your sentiments somewhat. I feel that some of what's been happening lately are marketing ploys. And prices have really gone up too much. Having said all that, I still adore a lot of their designs (admittedly a lot of the older ones), particularly their watches (though I can't afford them)...as well as certain materials such as TQ, lapis and grey MOP. Their pave pieces are very easy to wear too..alas most of these are too expensive!:sad:

Keep me updated on how you get on with putting on the Magic bracelet?

As of now, I am only still wanting their older designs, namely the pave magic 3 motif earrings and pave magic bracelet, and if ever possible, the Lady Arpels Pont des Amoureux watch. And you are right, they are fast becoming unattainable at the rate they are going. I adore their Cosmos secret watch but that will only be something I can admire from afar. The only new offering that had me somewhat excited was the guilloche sweet alhambra watch bracelet that came out... alas YG disappears on me, much like the RG. I was not even tempted by the lapis pave vintage alhambra offering when they came out for the 50th anniversary. But that is just me, I don't seem to like alternating or contrasting motifs unless they blend in well as a whole (which I think the guilloche sweet alhambra watch bracelet managed to achieve). Is the WG clover bangle next on your list?

That watch is TDF!!:heart::heart::heart:

I'm not sure yet. I'm trying to satisfy my urge for TQ and lapis. But the WG Clover Perlee is definitely on my wish list. It may happen in 2021..I feel.
