Here's my lovelies.

.5 carat Israeli sapphire in a low setting, made custom by a jeweler in Israel for us, and then a few months later I decided I also wanted a traditional diamond, and thought I'd see what our local Craigslist had to offer. Well! It had this sweet delicate half carat diamond with all the original paperwork and mad sparkle for $275 dollars! So we bought that wee treat!

I lost my beloved wedding band last November. I decided to have my engagement ring diamond reset into a custom band. Here are the results! I'm so pleased.

The center stone is .71 There are 18 pave diamonds - they represent our wedding date (on 3/18 we celebrated 14 years) . 18 is also a lucky number in Judaism. The band is brushed 14k yellow gold. The bezel is white gold.

Here's my set. I've posted on another thread but those rocks made me feel a little sad about my set :(
Actually I adore my rings, sometimes I do wish they were a little bigger but they are so sentimental. I've been asking for a 5 stone band to go with my set. I'd like a .25 ct band so not to overpower my current rings.
Someone asked for lots of specs so here's what I know. Set as a total is just a little over 1 ct 14k yellow gold with the mounts in platinum. Size 7.5. We've been married 7 years so the prices have doubled since then. I just looked up the prices as of today and my set would now cost $2500 (which is crazy to me).
You ladies all have lovely rings!

Third time lucky attempting to attach a decent picture of my engagement ring. Total carat weight .99ct, g, vs 1, set in platinum.
Lovely classic, timeless look.

Just got engaged and shared this pic on the engagement rings thread before I noticed this one! It's a .31 d colour round solitaire with 18 micro set diamonds in a halo. It's set in platinum. As previous posters have said, it's definitely quality over size and the halo really gives it some extra sparkle and size. Can't stop staring at it!

Thank you, it is a reset. My original stone is the central one. DH matched the stones after each of my Children were born and eventually we had them set in to this. I loved being able to choose the setting with him. I feel really special, that he did this for me. There is no way this is ever going to be upgraded now. I was also blown away by the valuation too xx
