my original ering. .25 carat emerald cut in antique 1940s bezel setting. from far away it looks like a ~1 carat with baguette side stones.

thank you! yes, my hubby bought me this ring i was eying for my birthday a couple years ago. i wear that as my ering now.

i love all the beautiful rounds in this thread. i really love rounds in smaller sizes.

My emerald cut diamond is a 1 carat investment grade diamond.. D color and VVS1. I adore it! I love the clean lines, it is so classy.
My pear shape is 0.69 carats but appears bigger, it has a trillion on each side and set in platinum.
The other round is just a dinner ring.. but I love it. The setting is encrusted with diamonds too.

My ring is a ribbon ring with a 0.98ct centre stone, vvs1/D colour.

Alright, I'm taking the plunge. Apologies for the blurry pic but my camera isn't the best.

My (dirty-and-needs-to-be-rhodium-plated) engagement ring is .52 cts, ideal cut, G color, VS2. My wedding ring (which still needs to be sized, we are not yet married) is an additional approximately half carat.

I originally wanted to upgrade the stone but I've found myself very attached to it - it is after all the diamond he proposed with. Instead - I'm considering getting another of the wedding bands to put on the other side of my engagement ring - I love it!

So lovely to see these smaller diamonds. The engagement thread diamonds are honkers! I feel so far removed from those stones, lol, maybe as my eventual upgrade stone, but for now, small is best if I get engaged in the next few years. But some of these "small" stone look huge! Gorgeous!

I think a pic of my ring belongs here...haha! It's not huge like the others on the other thread, but I love it...hubby picked my ering out all by himself...and it's very unique and special to me! I have no idea what carat weight it is actually, but here's a pic of my wedding set together!

Here's my set which we recently upgraded...married 20 yrs. and had a gold set, wanted platinum! Was not attached to my prior diamond as I've upgraded a few times and we had bought the original together (I had to pout to get one at all lol!!) --

Current set is: .54 center stone with halo; G color VVS2; band is .80 not sure of color; I love these! My other stone was bigger but had a big flaw - didn't formerly bother me but of late it surely did...we did try on a larger ring similar to my current one but dh didn't like it as it was a bit 'much' for him..(I could have handled it but I know what he meant!)...



I love seeing these smaller and gorgeous rings - great thread!

i dont have a pick handy but mine is a .75 cushion cut, w baguettes on the side. (and is 4 baguettes) i love it and i dont think we will upgrade, but sometimes seeign those biggies in the other threads makes u dream! lol
