Small classic flap - does anybody have it and love it - or not? Opinions and thoughts?

I have the small and I love it! From what I hear, it fits about the same amount of stuff as a mini, but really not much less compared to a medium. I chose the small because I tend to gravitate toward smaller purses (need a break from my giant work bag 5 days of the week).

In my opinion, there is no comparison to the mini when it comes to classic chanel details and craftsmanship. The small wins. The only upside to the mini is the crossbody option.

In comparison to the medium, I do find the small to look much more proportionate when worn on the shoulder (I’m 5’4”). Medium looks better double strapped, but I never wear it this way. Ultimately, the small and medium aren’t too different when it comes to capacity. It’s really personal preference. There is nothing “wrong” about the small!

I'm 5'5" and originally went to the store to buy a medium classic flap and ended up going home with a small. It depends on how you plan on wearing the bag (single-strapped vs. double-strapped vs. crossbody), how much you carry, and what works best for you. I typically wear my small classic flap single-strapped and it has been great from day to night. There's enough space for all the basic items I carry around on a daily basis so it's perfect for me. If I'm carry a lot of items, I can wear it crossbody as well. It sits a little high but, in my opinion, the small looked better on me crossbody than the medium due to size. I recommend trying the bags on in store so you have a better idea on what works for you!

My first purchase was a mini. I then got the small thinking I would use it often but that wasn't to be so I gave it to my daughter in law. The small didn't hold much more and wearing it crossbody on my 5'9" was impossible. A crossbody remains the most convenient......always at hand & secure & easier to get in and out due to the single flap. I find a double flap awkward. Mind you, my needs have changed over time. Errands and nights out is about it.

I have a small which is (currently) my one and only Chanel bag.
I like it a lot, wear it on the shoulder or crossbody (for reference, I am 5‘8‘‘) over my parka for an edgy look.
I always only carry my small wallet, mobile, a small reusable bag for imprompty groceries, my key and a lip balm. Fits perfectly!
Would I buy it again? Definitely, I am not looking to buy a larger sized bag.
