I have medium toned skin with yellow undertones, black hair, brown eyes and I tan very easily. I mostly wear WG, sometimes YG. I love RG, but it almost disappears against my skin. I wish it didn't.

I think you should wear whatever you love though. Do what makes you happy!

14k and 18k rose gold will look different. I am pale but have yellow undertones and 18 rose gold looks best on me (imo). I used to wear white gold/plat but now that I have gone rose gold there's no going back :)) Try on a necklace in different colors at the same time and you will see what pops on your skin.

I am fair skinned & prefer a soft rose gold like the Cartier one (not too coppery), but I also like white gold/silver on myself.
I think yellow gold can look a bit gaudy on me, but depends on the jewellery piece too I guess!

My veins are blue colored through my skin. I prefer wearing silver during fall-winter-spring, and once I start getting more tan, switch to yellow gold [usually by the start of June, and wear it all summer long]. Yellow gold is so beautiful and rich, but when I am pale, it doesn't look as good against my skin-tone as when I have a sunkissed glow.

Same here. I have tanned skin tone and rose gold melts on me. I wear either yellow gold or white gold or platinum. Silver looks dingy on me. Although I like Hermes silver

I have very fair skin and my hair is naturally dark blonde/light brown, but I am usually blonde and it looks much better.

My veins are both blue and green. I never noticed any issues with clashing metal tones, but I prefer rose and white gold, so that's what I wear

Snap! My veins are blue too and gold only looks good when I have a tan. Didn't think about the veins. Also love turquoise & sapphires, could be the same reason.

I'm blue veined with fair skin with lots of pink undertones (Mac NW15 to NW18), black hair and brown eyes, and platinum, white gold, and silver look best on me. Yellow gold is very jarring as is rose gold. I'll wear yellow or rose gold for rings but not anywhere near my face.

I'm an "old school" winter, back before it was broken down into three catagories, and I always wear white metals, although I think rose would look good too. My skin is light olive, but very green, and yellow looks very wrong next to it! I still only wear cool colors, although I am older now and eye/skin color has faded somewhat.
