Absolutely. What he did in his own time was of no interest or consequence to me. I loved him since I was about 6-7 years old & all that mattered was the music. So many of my friends were Wham fans & then of course George Michael fans. Nobody can believe it. Gone far too soon xx
Well I'm the same age as George so you can imagine what I thought of him.

I was about 14 when they came on the scene. I was obsessed with music (still am) and adored Wham! and later George's solo music as well. They made classy pop music with a soul heart. Smash Hits magazine made a fortune from my obsession with him.

So talented with a very good heart, despite his personal battles.

And, lest we forget - a very sexy man

Right, he was gorgeous! I had the biggest crush on him, too, magazines galore:smile: But look at his "Faith" video, what a superstar! Was it you who put that rehearsal of "Somebody To Love" up? That was truly one of the best performances ever, never saw the rehearsal. What was also amazing was the Nelson Mandela concert, the man could do covers like no one else.

I kind of think that George did what he wanted to do and F the press. I read where he has said he brought it on himself and was kind of self-sabotaging himself with the drugs, etc. I don't know much about that since I'm in the US but don't care. I don't care if he had a drug problem. He was part of my youth and to me he was an old friend. I'm not going to dwell on his sins, I'd rather dwell on the joy and comfort he brought me with his beautiful words and voice.

George Michael: Post-mortem into singer's death 'inconclusive'

A post-mortem examination into the cause of George Michael's death was "inconclusive" police have said.

The star died aged 53 on Christmas Day at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.

More tests will now be carried out to determine what led to his death, Thames Valley Police said in a statement. The results of these tests are unlikely to be known for several weeks.

Michael's death is still being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.

The post-mortem examination took place on Thursday.

South Central Ambulance Service were called to Michael's property at 13:42 GMT on 25 December and the singer was confirmed dead at the scene. Thames Valley Police also attended.

Michael's manager, Michael Lippman, said he had died of heart failure.

Sir Elton John led tributes to Michael, describing him as "the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist".

Madonna, Boy George, Ringo Starr and Robbie Williams also paid tribute to the singer, while bouquets of flowers were left outside his riverside home in Goring.

The boyfriend is really trying to milk this fame huh?. Keeps posting online...posted some unreleased music and was made to take it down by lawyers.

Maybe it's just me and my skeptical personality, but I believe this boyfriend doth protest too much. The inconclusive autopsy (could just be awaiting toxicology results) and all his claims of suicide and such by the boyfriend just don't sit well with me.

Maybe he's just after his 15 minutes. Who knows but he needs to just hush.

George Michael’s Cousin Blasts Fadi Fawaz as He Says ‘Too Many Questions Have Come Up’ About Death

George Michael‘s cousin, Andros Georgiou, is speaking out for the first time about apparently growing rift between Michael’s family and his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz and the questions the family has surrounding the singer’s untimely death.

Shortly after his shocking death, Fawaz claimed that he had discovered Michael dead in his bed on Christmas morning in the singer’s Oxfordshire, England, home. He was 53. At the time of his death, Michael’s U.S. rep told PEOPLE he died of heart failure, but police said earlier this month that his autopsy results were “inconclusive,” adding “further tests will now be carried out” but “Mr. Michael’s death is still being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.”

Georgiou disputes Fawaz’s claim that he and Michael were “together 24 hours a day” and questions his story about finding him in his bed on Christmas Day.

“They never lived together,” Georgiou wrote on Facebook Sunday. “[Fadi] lived at one of Yogs’ [a family nickname for George] in Regent Park. And even if they were, WHY were they not together on Christmas Eve? and WHY did he sleep in the car?

“Too many questions have come up,” he continued.

“Every day I get more angry at the lies I am reading. I pray that this nobody doesn’t earn a penny from Yog’s death — any money he is offered for his so-called story should go straight to one of Yog’s charities which now you all know how many,” Georgiou said. “He never took any credit — he was in every word the peoples’ hero apart, from being the one of biggest talents this country has ever produced. A true gentleman that lost his way. If only there were not so many YES people around him, he would be alive today.

“One thing is for sure this was not an act of suicide,” Georgiou continued. “If I was around this would never [have] happened and I have to live with that the rest of my life… I have to pray that the police come to the conclusion I have and justice will be served.”

Early in January, a series of tweets from Fawaz’s account claimed that, “the only thing George wanted is to DIE, he tried numbers [sic] of times to kill himself many times … and finally he managed.”

Fawaz later denied having sent the tweets, claiming his Twitter account had been hacked. Days after that, Michael’s family issued a joint statement removing themselves from speculation around the cause of the singer’s death.

“In the week since his tragic death there has been much comment and speculation concerning George and the circumstances surrounding his death,” the family said in a statement to BuzzFeed News. “There will inevitably be more in the future. The family remain devastated by his passing and have no wish to comment in relation to any such speculation, whether current or in the future.”

Guess we will find out when the tox reports come back , imo I don't see it as a suicide or murder , certainly hope it's neither . Poor family having to wait like this. I sent an email to his web site and Sony to try to push for live Faith tour DVD and some bonus live stuff - Nelson Mandela performances , Stevie Wonder covers , that Rock in Rio bootleg that's on You Tube with bad sound and not great resolution . Think we can expect to see anything like this ???
