Simon Cowell and girlfriend Lauren Silverman’s romance created quite the scandal when it was first revealed. Cowell had been longtime friends with her future ex-husband.
Simon Cowell may be on the road to parenthood with Lauren Silverman, but that doesn't mean he'll be stepdad to her son.
As divorce proceedings continue between Cowell's lady and her future ex-husband, Andrew Silverman, there's one big penalty detailed in the settlement, reports
TMZ.
According to the gossip site, if the the "X Factor" judge goes anywhere near the Silvermans’ 7-year-old son, Adam, there will be a hefty fine for her to pay. Lauren will have to fork over $50,000 to Andrew if she breaks the stay-away clause detailed in their divorce settlement.
Lauren Silverman with her son, Adam, who is at the center of a divorce agreement that could reportedly cost her contact with him if she violates it three times. The rule states Cowell can’t have any contact with Adam.
In fact, there's a three-strikes-you're-out regulation also attached, which states that if she violates their agreement three times, she'll lose all contact with her son.
But the guideline is only set in place until January 2015. However, the divorce decree also includes an agreement between the Silvermans that their son will not address anyone else as "mother" or "father."
On the flip side, Mr. Silverman cannot toss insults about Cowell around to Adam and legally cannot allow anyone else to do so either. In addition, he will pay $3,000 a month in child support.
