Sideways Cross Necklace.. Offensive?

I've worn mine for about the last four years now and have never actually taken it off. I have only had one negative comment, and it was an elderly man in a grocery store who simply looked at it, shook his head, and told me my cross was crooked. :shrugs:

No not offensive. I have one by Mizuki and wear it all the time. I have a very religious friend (middle age man) who said "where did you get that cross necklace, that's the coolest design ever"

I've never received any negative comments about it being offensive and actually that thought has never entered my mind. I guess everyone has their own opinion.

wow, it really depresses me how a lot of posters in here associate a woman in her 40s as being old or out of style. i am 44 years old and i pride myself as being a hip woman who is current on the trends. but that's me, i realize not all women in their 40s are as hip and cool as me. ;)

now excuse me while i go apply some ben-gay and watch the golden girls.(help, i've fallen and i can't get up...)
Ditto!!!
Thank you for posting what I'm sure many of us were thinking.
For the record, I live in a major city and see plenty of women in their 40's wearing this necklace.
It's a lot more updated than a traditional cross on a chain.
