Does the open heart necklace (7 mm mini) look best above the DBTY or below??? The chain for the dbty is much thicker. Pendants are close to same size. Thank you for any opinions.

Pt dbty single stone .08 ctw

The platinum single stone. You will get lots of sparkle from the 3 smaller stones but, they are set in sterling silver and the necklace will require more maintenance. If you can afford it, I would always choose Pt over SS.

Edit: If you have a chance to try them on in person, go with whichever one makes your heart sing.

It’s also my concern… ss is more prone to oxydizing than pt, pt remains unchanged forever!
And also bezels, in pt are more thin, in ss are thicker and imo this shifts attention from diamonds.

Strangely, I find my Tiffany silver to be easier to manage than my Tiffany pt. I have two pairs of diamond earrings set in pt from Tiffany and they are both dark/tarnished and a bit stiff (even after constant wear over a 6-year period). I have had them cleaned at the store several times, but they always get dirty quickly thereafter. My ss Diamond By The Yard necklace is in much better shape. All this to say: If your heart is set on the silver, go for it!

I have many necklace/bracelet in ss and since I was teached by Tiffany’s SA to clean silver with mild soap I do it every day and all my silver jewels shine like brand new!!
I like both ss and pt metals in equal way, but I like the most 3 stones than one 😅

I have a 3 stone DBTY in yellow gold. Those little diamonds are very sparkly and it's a favourite piece. Listen to your heart.
