My first dip of the toe into the LV pool: a Limited Edition Trompe d'Oeil velvet monogram carpet pochette from A/W 2004 with aged brass hardware and strass crystals. Gorgeous chocolate calf leather lining and alligator trim on the handle.
Bought in the NPN New Year sale and making her début this evening!

Thank you, Elaine; she's a really cute little bag and the attention to detail is wonderful! I particularly like the little LV on yellow alligator inside the bag! (I'm as obsessive about interiors as I am about the exterior of a bag!) [emoji5]
I also love the top leather handle (so much more comfy than a chain!) with the LV studs and strass crystals overlaid on the yellow alligator!

Her maiden voyage was a girlie "film and nibbles night" at my friend's house, NY, although they did indeed admire Miss LV (I'm known for only carrying Mulberry!) Sad to say, we all dozed off at some point (and we were on soft drinks and tea!) before driving home at 2am! [emoji5]

Thank you, dear wee drop; I'm sure my DH would disagree! Do you have any LV? I've never really considered the brand before - it's always seemed a bit "look at me, I'm designer" to me - but I'm increasingly drawn to a few niche products! [emoji5]
