I can’t believe it but I lost a back for a brand new pair of earrings I just bought! Luckily I found the earring in my house (it was my second time wearing them and I was absolutely devastated at the thought I’d lost it). The back fell out somewhere while I was wearing the earrings. Can I purchase a replacement back from Hermes? Do they sell single backs?

Still really upset as I just bought them but hopefully I can get a replacement!

I bought a bag of those little plastic back to wear in addition to the regular back. I do that for heavier/more expensive earrings or for those with less secure backs. I know this does not answer your original question, but hopefully will help in the future.

This was my first second pair of earrings from Hermes and never happened with the first. An expensive lesson I suppose but I guess I can always buy a different back from a jeweler if I can’t from Hermes :(

I’m sorry to hear you lost it. My sales specialist told me they always have replacements in the back. Maybe your sales specialist will give you one complimentary? I think I read somewhere that you can buy a replacement. I hope that helps!

I went to Hermes and they gave me a new backing
