i like the chaine design quite fresh and modern. But I agree that it’s way too much expensive even more than serpenti bracelet(Demi pave).And I’ve seen same bracelet on FP for around 5 or 6k 🤯 i can’t wrap my head around this price point.

I’m also considering CDC bracelet in gold. It’s quite substantial piece isn’t it?

I find the serpenti demi pave underwhelming. If choosing between the two, i would get the kelly chaine w pave diamond bracelet. If the serpenti was full pave, id choose the serpenti—- actually i’ll even choose full pave serpenti vs other H pave bangles.

To stay on topic though, price does increase but that wont compensate for how much it depreciates on the resale market (assuming you would end up reselling it or for an emergency). Appreciation is just a few dollars. Depreciation on resale is probably around 40%

Honestly? And speaking as someone with a fair amount of H jewelry from both boutique and resale...buy the JuC. It holds much of its value. You can find the Kelly chaine at resale for half the price. Unless of course you need to "build a profile" 🤷‍♂️

The CDC in gold (I have three as a daily stack) isn't all that substantial unless you are talking about the large sizes, which are a LOT more than the Kelly chaine. I mean, I LOVE my CDCs or I wouldn't have so many, but I consider them to be more delicate bangles.

I’m building my profile but not on unnecessary spending. I can’t justify spending extra 2 or 3k on a jewelry piece which I can buy in secondary market for 6k. CDC bracelet is substantial in size and price is also ok compare to Kelly chain. JUC also looks more solid in terms of price and the weight of the bracelet is much more substantial than the H, which I love because it feels like I’m wearing an actual gold bracelet.

What do you think about Kelly bracelet half pave instead of chaine? Which piece is more bang for the buck?
True that designer jewelry depreciates but H even more 😬 in the end truth is, fine jewellery doesn’t hold its value. I’m from Middle East and our parents gift us 24k jewelry and bullion on our weddings and it appreciates a lot so that’s we consider an investment. But Fine jewelry is like buying cars isn’t it 😁

I think now I’m more interested in bangles . Difficult choices 😬 Which one would you prefer if you were to choose from the following JUC, serpenti, chaumet(bee my love) and CDC or Kelly😊

Do you like the kelly chaine double bracelet? You can use it as choker and bracelet. It’s a little more than the kelly chaine but you get to wear it as choker and bracelet.

If you prefer bangles DEF get the half pave CDC or Kelly, these are my two faves. OR the half pave gourmette if you want a chain look but more substantial than the Kelly chaine. Let us know what you decide!
