This post may be a little much but I really would love to hear if anyone has had the same experience --
I adore Chanel bags (obviously) and there are so many that are so special and spark joy and of course it seems the search continues even when you find one you love (in my experience)
BUT I do always go back to the medium classic flap as the be all/end all and will often think, let me just get that bc then I'll definitely have purse peace: it's a forever bag, will go with everything, and even though all the really special bags are amazing, they maybe aren't as versatile or forever.
I've bought and returned/sold the medium classic flap in black 3-4 times now, because once I get it, I feel like it's either not actually as usable as I dream it to be (plus of course its constantly increasing value deters me a bit to let it get any wear on it). In fairness, with the double flap, I do find it a little small/annoying, but it's still such arguably pretty usable. I don't know if it's because I'm getting black and with gold it feels really formal or what -- or if I should be going for a color that I feel is a little more interesting but still usable (but what color then?) but has anyone experienced the classic flap not actually being the dream bag you thought but then as you continue to search all the beautiful Chanels still find yourself going back to it? Again this is a very extra post haha but I'm curious if this is a thing (and if anyone has a solution!)
