this is a cute ring with pave diamonds. Anybody know what's behind the clou though, if there are front facing diamonds on the back side of the clou?

I generally find this new clou collection underwhelming and is more of a starter collection for those starting their H FJ collection. Maybe if the band is thicker/ substantial or the bracelet is a bangle, not a chain.

I also feel like this collection is a little basic, but it was nice to add some pieces that I can mix in to my other H FJ. I agree its a great starter collection!

Ironically this jewelry line is one of the few things that went DOWN in price in the new year when everything else went up! For example, the pave pendant was 4300€ in 2023 when they first popped up on the website. Today they are 4000€! Even my SA commented that he did a double take when he saw the new pricing!

Oh wow that’s great. I wonder if this line isn’t selling great that they needed to rejigger. I do think it’s very pretty. Just very expensive for what it is.

I have no idea... it was only out for a month or so before the price adjustment, so I don't know if that's enough time for them to determine?? But I'll take it! I have purchased other pieces before where I noticed a price adjustment later. The Divine diamond ring for example. It was $9700 when I purchased it, and then I noticed it went down to $9300, before now going back up again in 2024. Come to think of it, I bought that in November 2022, then the price went down in 2023! Same pattern! Note to self: new jewelry that comes out in the fall *may* possibly drop in price in the new year???!!:shocked:

I noticed that with the chaos line too. It dropped in price a few months after it came out, which is when I got mine. I stopped tracking the price after purchase, so IDK if it went up again.

Hello!

Ok I need to know what you would do in my situation- I bought a Constance pave pendant last year .,..and recently lost it 😭😭😭

Would you buy it again from Hermes or would you buy it brand new 50 percent off from real real?

Not sure how to go about it? I’m so sad as I really loved it and have never lost any jewelry before.
I'm sorry you lost your pendant :(. Did you have it insured? Then you can recoup the cost and buy it new again + a little bit.

Oh no! I’m so sorry that happened!! I thought I lost my contour pendant this weekend so I know that terrible feeling!!

I think it depends on your budget… and it’s extra annoying that the price has gone up too. If you have the budget, like your SA and are jonesing for your next bag, you could get it from the boutique. If you decide to buy resale I haven’t heard great things about TRR but have had good experiences with Fashionphile myself.

I would also think about how you’re going to feel about the piece when you wear it. Which option would give you a nicer feeling when you wear it? I know that sounds strange but whenever I put on something, I’m always reminded of the provenance of whatever it is and it invokes usually a happy memory or thought. I have pieces that I’ve purchased associated with negative experiences that I don’t like to wear because it reminds me of that bad experience.

I’m sorry this happened to you! :hugs:
