I did not. Sorry I keep referring to it as pre-order but I don’t know how else to call it. Basically a few months ago my SA said, hey there’s this new Medor jewelry line coming out that I think you would like. And I said ok cool keep me posted. Then last month he showed me photos from their “catalog” (it was a printout of material they got, so it wasn’t like a shiny magazine or anything) of all the pieces and I picked out a couple that I liked. So when they arrive, it will be tagged with my name. I can decide not to purchase if I don’t like it once I see it. (I have done that with RTW that I order from trunk shows etc) But I think I will actually ask for more pieces lol!

This is the best way to do it if you have not seen the item in person :smile:
the caveat is, I’m not sure all the items in the book (it used to be a binder with black and white descriptions
will be ordered for the particular store. So while you are not obligated to buy, the store may not get the piece.

ETA: I’ve had the situation where an item was marked for DH and months later, Paris Headquarters decided not to honor the original commitment to send x units to Madison Ave.

I’d call it a reservation. (Though H themselves call it an “order” even though it just functions as a reservation. :lol: )

Ugh yes, I am still waiting on the mineral blue duffle coat from FSH in a size 34 (I'm thinking it's not gonna happen) and one sweater that I "reserved" from Madison trunk show took sooooo long that when my SA brought it to me (and yes, it was in a plastic bag with my name printed on the label!), I told him I wasn't interested anymore. He didn't bat an eye and just said, Ok I'll just take this aside then. So hopefully that won't happen with my jewelry pieces!! :)
