Hi all, i have a couple of rosegold rings and found this thread accidentally while searching for inputs on the gambade bracelet I newly acquired..
To those who got this before me, how do you find it? I am concerned with its type of lock as i am pretty used to having the hook closure one if it makes sense.. i have been eyeing for this in a while on h.com but the recently ones got the lock which i prefer.

I have this bracelet. I love it and wear it a lot! But there was this one time it became undone under my sleeves! I caught it in time so I didn't lose it. It never happened again since then and I am more careful with it. Other than this one incident, it's a great every day easy wear piece. HTH!

Thanks for the feedback hun.. ❤️ This is what i am afraid of.. i am a bit clumsy and don’t care much with my things when i am out. ‍♀️ I have the silver farandole bracelet and gets off my wrist a lot of times til i decided not to wear it anymore. Its just luck that i havent lost it.
i decided to return this gambade.. I am still interested to get it in case the lock mechanism is different.

Ah... it's a shame you won't keep it. It's really pretty! The trick is to get the smallest size you can put on so there is little space for the T-bar to come out. But I understand your concern. Good luck in finding a better piece!

Actually i like the whole thing but i don’t want to be checking on it from time to time everytime i wear it. I want to be confident with the things i got.. it is a lovely one, its just the lock that bothers me. My SA and I have been looking for something to exchange with and found the ex libris and chaine d encre lovely too but sadly they all got the same lock mechanism which i don’t think will give me peace of mind and confidence wearing it..
I think h is releasing new versions of them with the lock mechanism i prefer.. Maybe i just need to wait a bit further to get what will make me satisfied.. after all h is about patience..

I’ve read of other ladies using a small clear orthodontist type rubber band to secure the toggle in designs like this, if one really loves the bracelet otherwise. Though I wouldn’t blame anyone for thinking that at this level, we shouldn’t have to make adjustments like that.

yeah, i think i don’t feel like “compromising” if that’s the word.
For the money we pay, I think i want to get the one which will really make me happy and will find it worth it.
(Where i am, it is 600usd more than the US price and to be honest i’ve been considering to get cartier juste un clou instead)
