I wish I could say I got this for $2 but I paid $30-still I love it and I've seen these go for more. I think this one stayed under the radar because it's green:

Forgive my horrible manicure but I had just gotten in from out of town and decided to do a little rehabbing and housecleaning BEFORE I did my nails.

Love that little change purse--I always seem to get outbid or the BIN is $85 or something crazy like that! I think you did get a good deal for an unusual color.

all seem in pretty good shape over all. Hope I can sneak another shopping trip in soon but gotta sell some stuff first !!

The Hippie Flap is to die for in red! (I'd have a really tough time selling that one!) She has a grey twin in my closet. The Casino Bag has a white twin here (only paid $1.00 at Goodwill in 2009)...and your Janice's Legacy has both a red and a black twin here too!

When I spotted this one, I couldn't believe my eyes! $14.99 at Goodwill in 2009! DemRam says mid to late 70s! There has been a white one listed on ebay recently for $189! She's in remarkable condition for her age, but doesn't come out much...just very special occasions!

Bought this cutie at Goodwill for only $5.99 way back in 2003...didn't even know it was Coach!

I had only started collecting in 2002, and as this bag didn't have a hangtag, the thought never occurred to me to look inside for a creed. When I really started looking at bags on ebay years later to compare to my finds, I made the happy discovery!

Hyacinth authenticated her as a Megan bag #9921 from about 1992-93. Love the shape, super-long elegant strap and magnetic closure! She may be my next easy rehab, as she's black and very forgiving!

Oh, and there's currently a green one on ebay for $199.95!

I love the Bleecter Hobo w/ tattersall lining. This retailed, I think, for $448. I found her for $99. The Preppy Mix fob was $58 and I found her for $28. Yet another GREEN bag. I can't get enough apparently. The little Legacy "book" in photo is that small Japanese calendar/bookcover combo I'd found on ebay. It holds my 2 year planner pretty nicely. That wasn't reallty a deal, just something I "had to have".

I've been stalking this bag (though admittedly not consistently)....love it!

I am glad the 50% off coupon deal ended yesterday...Even though I love getting 50% off, I don't like everything in the store being so picked over. This gal was hiding behind the counter at one of the 3 shops I hit yesterday...I believe it's the Convertible Clutch, (NYC Era ..yay), marked down, she was $12. I can't wait to wash and condition her back to beautiful...

$2.08 Bucket Bag

Lol, me too. Our local thrift store became more shrewd with the higher end bags. They also have a hard time distinguishing fake vs authentic. They sell Foach bags for $50 and up.

Here are some of my recent finds. No real vintage, as they are tough to find here!

The first two were steals: 2 of the three 41 Collection London exclusive bags (41 Mayfair, 41 Bond and 41 W1.) at £50 and £65, respectively. Both BNWT, probably promos, RRP £725. Still bummed that both are navy, and I really wanted the third of the trio...

Thanks! Unfortunately, the real deals are becoming much harder to find. Goodwill & SA have gotten fairly internet savvy, however a couple of months ago I scored an Anderson Zip, a little tired and faded, but in overall good condition. It was marked "AS IS" and priced at $4.99! That's more like it!
