(this was the one I walked away from before, but this time I had a half off coupon so it was much better than $30)

My problem is that my thrift stores have too many good buys, I have more bags than I can ever hope to rehab but I still keep buying them!
Speaking of which, I had a good day yesterday too. I got a silk coach scarf 98197 for $4.75, a coach dustbag for $1.50 and an olive green furla tote for $4.50!

I am actually really surprised that so many thrift stores don't at least have the really OLD (best) vintage. Because that's what, by general definition, SHOULD end up at thrift stores....when people clean out their elderly or deceased relative's closets and donate it. It makes me wonder if your local thrift stores' employees or owners aren't skimming the stuff and selling it privately or something. I would be so sad (but a little richer

I am honestly shocked the Bleecker tote was still there. I am sure the $30 previous tag on it was what turned people off, and then I got in on the morning of the sale and grabbed her before anyone else got the half price deal.
I found a lot of great stuff including a rare vintage Marley Hodgson Ghurka bag, ($1.30) lots of nice, but lesser coveted bags to use in my "ebay" sales (which funds my Coach addiction) And sadly, I got suckered in by what at a thorough but quick glance looked like a nice Patricia's Legacy...but when I checked the Creed later ...it didn't match properly. (When will I learn!! In my defense, its a really beautiful fake...with all silver hardware. :censor: )
These are so awesome. And your luck at finding Furla, and GREEN ones no less, is amazing to me!! I've found one little tiny Furla tote but it's a vintage and relatively un-impressive one LOL. They are awesome bags, but don't necessarily command a good price second hand unless they are newer "blingy" ones.

I do believe that this seller has her bag a little overpriced.

Did you tell her? It's obviously a mistake. It isn't that rare! Someone had a Bonnie Cashin listed for around $2000 or $3000 once.
