It was so exciting watching these parade through the AT thread!

Which of your finds is your #1 favorite??
My favorites are the Courier and the Stewardess. I was never really interested in a Stewardess but it's a great size and it carries well, it feels good and secure on the shoulder. I really like it! I also enjoyed getting to try out so many different styles that I have never seen before and probably would never have given a second look. And of course it was very humbling to learn how Coach-stupid I am in terms of recognizing authentic bags. Learning about these older styles has been the absolute best part of this whole experience! I feel really lucky, especially for my new education.

I just bought this lot of vintage bags on Craigslist! All have been authenticated. This comes out to be $7.89 per bag! Woo hoo!!! :happydance:

Absolutely beautiful sight, lol! Feeling a little emotional *sniff* Well done Morgan, well done.
ETA and this will really up your rehab game. By soaking and cleaning bags of all color and condition, you get a grip on what you can realistically do. At $7.89 a bag, it doesn’t get better, IMO. I am guessing this will save you money in the long run, because you will be able to invest in good potential rehab candidates and by pass bags that look problematic!

That's what I thought too. This will be a great opportunity to develop some of the rehab skills that others here already have. I'm usually pretty lazy about polishing hardware and some of these have some nasty verdigris so I don't think I can get away with ignoring the hardware on these bags. I have to mosey on over to the Rehab thread and start taking notes! I think this project will keep me busy all winter! I just ordered a big jug of Leather CPR and a bottle of Brasso, too.

Congrats! What a great vintage haul. Are you planning rehab these bags?
Thak you! I do plan to rehab these. I'm going to start with the damaged ones (ripped leather, ink stains, missing hardware, etc.) to get some practice before I start on the more rare bags. My first victim will be a fake Willis that came with this lot: today I'm going to learn how to remove and polish a brass turnlock and D rings!

Good plan. Have fun.

View attachment 4586781 So I seem to be going through a purple phase . . . $30 something each, with shipping.
The photo does a good job of capturing the color. The larger bag is a bit distressed. Both need to dunked!
Congrats! The color is gorgeous. What is the name and style number of the large bag? Looking forward to seeing them in your bag rotation.
