It's a spectacular bag. If you want it you should get it, but since you are asking the question it sounds like you have concerns?
My only concern is the staining on the side, which looks to me like rust. I don't think that is going to clean out. It can probably be camouflaged with paint although I am not very good with that. The only other problem I have is that I have spent so much lately and I need to stop buying. When I didn't win this bag, I went ahead and bought a perforated Parker bag. I probably wouldn't have bid on the Parker if I had won the Leigh originally.
If the color is true to the pictures, I'm not a big fan. Love the style and lining, but just not that exterior color.
Thank you. I actually like this color.

That's actually a really GREAT price for a Leigh. And I own the same Rose bag and I do like it a lot. It's more salmon coral pink but I do like it. I'd get it at that price if the condition seems good enough.
I haven't seen many of this color listed. I love the color of my Bridgit so if it is the same color, then I will love it. I have never owned a Leigh so I don't know how I will feel about the weight and how it hangs. I had a signature shoulder zip like this one: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-re...-legacy-pieces-here-156435-2.html#post3296417 and I didn't like the slouch. The Leigh looks like it wouldn't have that problem since it isn't straight across. I have also moved up to bigger bags so I think the size will be right.
I think I'm going to have to enable you on this one. I love that shade of pink also.
Thank you. The winning bidder has very high feedback so I would be very surprised if she doesn't pay eventually. I probably won't get the chance after all. Until the last day, I thought I was going to win it for $100.

Nice save! Love the color!

I think that's the same one I have in a yellow color. It has the same "cashin for sills" tag but also a "zapoleons" tag.

OK, mine has more square/patch pockets. I'll take a picture of it Monday or Tuesday when my husband isn't lurking around to ask me what the heck I'm on about...lol. Mostly I'm kidding, he really doesn't care, I'm doing some stuff on the computer and feeling a little lazy.

I love your amethyst bridgit and you got her at a great price, congratulations!

Thanks, I really love it! Can't believe how heavy it is for a little bag, when I first got it I unattached one side of the strap to hang it up to air it a little and it landed on my barefoot toe-OUCH!

Yes can you imagine all the bonnie cashing stuff that probably gets thrown out at thrift stores because the people that sort have no idea what it is and they just see it as an ugly outdated coat. Even my manager that priced it and brought it out for me was like....i don't even think i wore anything that ugly in the 70's...because i told her it was probably from the 70s. I see it as a piece of vintage designer history. Think that sucks is that i def cannot wear this coat. It's probably a small to medium in size...i'm more like XL. :( I would definitely shine up the brass and wear it in the fall if i could. I think it's gorgeous and it's in wonderful condition other than the few small marks near the collar.

Oh well it's more motivation for me to seriously be more conscience of what i eat and try to exercize. a few weeks ago i scored this GORGEOUS wedding dress with a veil for only 1 dollar. I figured it would be good motivation on the diet since i am getting married sometime next year. How cool would it be to say you got your absolutley gorgeous dress for a buck.

Beautiful dress and great motivation, good luck with the weight loss and the wedding plans!

Advice please, although I know you are a bunch of enablers, please tell me if I really need this bag. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...VJU70TX9Ul4%3D&viewitem=&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

The seller doesn't think the buyer is going to pay and so I might get a second chance offer on it. Do you think I should do it? If this is the same color as the rose Bridgit, then I know I love the color. It is not incredibly cheap though.

It is a bit of a heavy bag. I am not usually one for shoulder bags since I love crossbody but I just can't stop looking at and petting the leather on these legacy Leighs. I've not had her long and want to carry her again very soon. Rust stain, though....I bet that won't come out, so maybe it can be camouflaged?

Or it could be a little bit if dried ...ketchup? That will just flake off...I dunno, I say if the chance comes up, snag it.

Since they didn't really know why i wanted it or what it was..and to them it was just an old ugly coat they threw 3 bucks on it. I mean if i hadn't spotted it, it would have went to salvage and they wouldn't have made any money off of it. So the way i see it is that i'm helping them make money by finding this stuff sometimes. :D My really beat up Whitney bag was also one that was already in the salvage box and I pulled it out said i wanted it so they priced it 5 dollars. It cleaned up pretty nicely. Love that bag.

There is a chance it will clean off. I have found that most people don't have a clue about how easy it is to clean bags so they just live with the dirt. However, it is described as new without tags so it is hard to get ketchup on a purse if you aren't using it. That is why I suspect it is a stain from sitting up against something, possible rust. I bought a patent leather bag that had ink marks all over it. Surprisingly, they just wiped off.

Now that I have convinced myself that I want it, I doubt I will get the opportunity. I don't know if the seller knows she has to wait 4 days after she files a NPB before she can offer it to me. If the buyer had zero feedback, I would say I would get it, but this buyer has feedback in the thousands.

That's how to look at it though, if you get it then it was meant to be. I just added a dollar to the lavender Abbie and won it. :D

"NWOT"....don't get me started ....I've bought 4 different bags (3 were in a lot together) but both sellers said they were "new without tags" including the Lily! And they were acceptable at the prices I paid, but very USED!!!.. so I just gave them a small "note" within my positive feedback saying ..."though NOT NWOT as described, I still like the purses". New sellers-- not clued in on how ebay works.

I know. I recently got a NWOT purse with feminine products in the pockets. :p Some people were saying well, maybe she just put stuff in the pockets to try it out, but you would usually do that with the big stuff, I would think. I also got a NWOT purse that had tons of ink stains and dirt on the inside, but the optional strap was still attached by the plastic thingy. I usually ignore the NWOT description if the pictures don't match. I have also gotten items that really look new when the sellers have described them as used.
