I got a navy Casino bag on Ebay yesterday. It cost $12 and came without the strap and the hang tag - I had a couple of straps from other bags and I added a small brass hang tag which actually looks quite nice. The bag is in very good condition, and I just moisturized it before I used it. Will get some pictures over the weekend.
All the bag had was a couple of small scuff marks on the binding. Was pleased with the price - shipping was almost as much as the bag!

Hello, I am new to the forum and want to say I love all of the bags everyone has spoke about and posted pictures, I can only hope to get lucky enough to find a deal as good as everyone else. I do have a question though there is mention of a thread that can tell authentication and I was wondering if they can do it from a picture on ebay I am looking at a bag and I am afraid to buy it without knowing. Sorry if I am asking this in the wrong place... Again thank you all for posting your beautiful finds :)

yes if you go back to the Coach main page there is a thread that has a title of "authenticate this". If the ebay seller has good photos showing the bag from several angles as well as a clear shot of the inside creed patch containing needed info, then it can be probably authenticated that way. The Authentication thread gives detailed instructions also on whats needed. It's also ok to message the seller on ebay and ask for more photos if necessary.

Thank you so much for the response I really appreciate it. I will go ask over there :smile1:. Thank you again

So here's a funny story!!

You know I just rehabbed a casino bag for one of my girlfriends and I too bought mine for $12. Well I gave it to her and she LOVED it, I was so excited. She plunked the clutch she was carrying right down in her so she could wear her right away.

Anyway so yesterday after I gave it to her we went to this vintage/thrift/junk store downtown and the lady heard us talking about coach and she said "oh I have this little bag back over here...Its $95." She walked us over and it was a CASINO BAG!! I was like "I just bought one for $12." The lady kind of looked at me and said "Well these classics are coming back and the Coach store up the road carries these so we're pricing them accordingly."

I just had to laugh to myself. I was like $95, are you for real?!?! And the one I rehabbed looked just as good if not better!

I thought you'd enjoy this;)

First I got an ebay bargain in the mail yesterday: I've been looking for a Saddle bag (#9988) and/or Crescent bag and they usually get bid up pretty badly for good ones on ebay. This auction had a (lot) set of 2 bags, and I realized one of them was a navy colored Saddle bag (which ended up being in EXCELLENT condition!) The photography wasn't great, so I wasn't sure what I'd be getting- but took the chance. I was able to get both bags for $40!!! I'll probably sell the other bag- a Hampton aubergine suede E/W demi (#7470), which means my Saddle bag will hopefully end up being practically free...yay!!!

THEN.... I had to run to T.J. Maxx where I found a clearance pair of Coach sunglasses for $39. Next, I hopped into a thrift store and found these Coach Elina Suede tennis shoes in really great condition for $6.80!!.... So, a good Coach day over all!!

Omg those tennis shoes look brand new!! I've never seen this style before but they remind me of the current laser cut madison designs. Plus we have a perforated framed carryall at the FA store that looks just like this!! Great find:D

wow...!! people are so unbelievable...first of all, yes Classics are coming back, but you're either a thrift shop or you're NOT!! If I COULD, (or even wanted) to pay a bunch of cash for new bags, I'd go to the full priced store!!
