Does look like the same color. I think what I have is prolly a tophandle? Do you happen to know the name of the line? How'd you wash yours, machine if I remember correctly?

I'm on my tablet or I'd link this better for you but if you go to the bottom of the post I linked above I cut and pasted the info from the wayback machine I found about my bag at the bottom of my post. Some of the suede bags I found were "laced " others were the same bag without the laced detail. Here's a link to my rehab info:

i been gone so longand now i am back. saw this thread and thought it was a great idea. looked at so many bags bought at such great prices. but i have been busy while in vegas and also while back here in Alb. NM. and i do a lot of stuff on craigs list. not buying much but mostly selling and trading. and trading UP is my big thing. i also like pre-loved bags. i spend a lot of my time off yard selling and thrift shopping. and here are just a couple i got at greats deals. first is my bag. after starting with a 10 dollars items and trading and selling i ended up with this for free. yep, you read that right. FREE.

Wow!!!! That's great. All I can get my dh to do is park and sit in the car while can run in and look for bags! Lol!

$28 at Goodwill. In almost-new condition. I'm having it authenticated, although pretty sure it's the real deal.

Does anyone know the style name? I believe it was made in 1988, when the serial numbers were one-of-a-kind and did not include the style number.

I think that's a Swagger. I bought one at Goodwill this summer. It's a nice sized crossbody. I gave mine to a good friend who loves Coach as much as I do, and who wears black 99% of the time.

Thanks, AggieK. Yes, Hyacinth authenticated it and identified it as a Swagger.

That was very sweet of you. I'm sure your friend had a big smile on her face when you gave it to her. :D

I'm so excited to stumble across my new Swagger. It must have sat in someone's closet for years. Was probably used a few times, then stored away. The only wear is some dye rubbed off on the corners. It's like having a new purse, only softer and broken in. I live in a really dry climate, so I think the previous owner stored it away very carefully, or it came from a more humid place.

Anyway...thanks!

Where do you live? I live in a desert myself.

3 dollars? That good. But I still I think I win with 3 bags at nothing. Out of pocket. :D. Ha ha. Jk. Still still a great price. And pursanista I like that bag. I would wear that. I need to find more deals out here. And post more. And i'l try to come out with a zero or hopefully negative dollar amount. Wish me luck.
