Thank you, but you know what? I have to say, this is a pretty great match! I love this bag...how fabulous does this look with the orange too? I have to hand it to you Lisa, you have a good solid collection where your accessories really can interchange between your bags as the colors work so well together. BTW, re: Belles de Mexique twillys, I have the Purple background, hot pink dancers dress version which I love!!!!

Glamour, you are so sweet! When one's collection is small, you gotta do what you gotta do! Thank you sweet thing!

You already know how fabulous I think your styles are...they are inspirational to say the least! So colorful too!

Carlinha, I can't even believe you have all those Belles. I am crazy about them and as usual, late on the get-em! I LOVE them all but that grey is so special!

I received an adorable Lauduree charm from a very special friend and I love how it looks with my Candy RT Kelly!!! Needless to say, we were feeling very confectionery this morning while looking to put together some looks..... Can you tell I love pinks, whites and sparkles....(not too obvious is it???) Anyway, I have tied my Belles de Mexique twilly with a one-sided little bow!!! Thank you for letting me share!!!!

And Glamour, you have my twin! Can you send her to see her sister please? I love your one sided bow. Can't wait to go try that: I'm such a copy cat!

wow i just spent the last 30 min going through this whole thread!

such inspirations!!!!!! some of you ladies and gents are SOOO creative! i haven't even gotten to using the twillies other than on my bags!

Okay, faint! Just faint! These pictures are knocking me out! I don't even know what to rant about first. The duckie charm?? OMG. I need that. Precious. I see you found a Carmen!!! Love the contrast. Those grey Belles are too beautiful for words! Really, Carlinaha, these pictures are GORGEOUS. I am going to go back and look again! I love everything. And Capuccine girl is soooooo stunning. I saw this color irl and it is so full of life and zest!

thank you lisa!!!!! i LOVE the belles also... now hoping i can find the purple (like what you have) and capucine!!! i always feel like i am late to the game also! hope we can find them babe!

Dear Ladies , I would really appreciate everyone's help!! I'm looking for a tutorial on how to tie the twilly with a little bow at the end of a birkin handle... I think I spotted it somewhere on the forum before, but I can't find it now!! I tried the search engine, but to no avail... could anyone possibly direct me to a tutorial or teach me please??

:smile1:

I am sadly discovering that I don't like a twilly on my bag. I know, weird huh? But they slip on my handles of my Birkin even though I LOVE the look, and the bow isn't working either...... I don't like an over-accesorized Birkin since I want the beauty of the bag to be the primary focus....So what do you do with a non-working twilly? Put her in your hair or on your wrist of course.

Question for you experts: will etoupe togo handles darken if not wrapped with twillies? Can the color be restored with spa or ph cleaner? Or are twillies necessary?

Thank you!!

The irritating answer is: it depends. Are you going to use this bag in seasons when your hands are hot, oilier? Are you using her once a month, or every day for months? Is it dry where you live?? There are so many variables to think about. Bottom line, the twilly, besides looking adorable on a B or K handle is to protect and accesorize, but the lighter color leathers do darken. I am very careful to have super clean hands and if I am hot and sweaty, I don't even want to touch my bag, but if I have to, I literally use my finger tips and put it up on the crick of my arm. If arm is sweaty--well Hell. I sit and cry. ;) Hope this helps a little.

:D Thank you for this! I do baby my bags and clothes, but I'm sure the hands have natural oils...seems like a twilly is in order...Thank you!! :hugs:

I find my twillies slip after I've been using them for a while. Maybe yours just need to be cleaned?
My problem is that I've got an etoupe 30B....and I just want to take a little break from the twillies....I added the blue Arbre de Vie pochette and I just love it, so cute on the bag, but then I'm touching the handles, yikes!
And I use it every day. Hmmm.....

Carlinha, I need you to come over and give me a twilly tutorial, because I've been tying them on my bags for a year and a half and I cant get mine to look anywhere near as perfect as you! Wow! How long does it take you to do that?

i love dressing up my Bs with twillies, but primarily i do it because i am always sweating or putting lotion on my hands, and i'm worried about darkening the handles.

awww thanks BBC! when i first started learning how to put the twillies on, i swear it took me like 30 minutes! now i have it down to a few minutes, but i am very OCD/anal and i need the ends to be as perfectly aligned :girlwhack::girlwhack: call me crazy! :p maybe one day i will videotape me doing it and post it online and share the link

^I am so looking forward to that day. When I tried mine, the ends always end up differently on both sides eventhough i make sure to start in the middle of handles. And they drape way too long too on each end on the B30 handles.
