lvpiggy, love your twilly necktie with twily ring. Could you share how you did it?

Faux Twilly Necktie, Part I (modelled by iPulse bear )

1. Fold your twilly in half lengthwise.
   
   
2. slide one small clou de selle ring onto one end of the twilly, making sure to keep the end folded as it goes through the ring
   
   
   
   
   
3. In the same fashion as Step 2, slide the large clou de selle ring onto the other end of the folded twilly
   
   
4. Commencing with the end that has the small ring, wrap the twilly around your neck twice without twisting
   
   
   
   
   
5. You can now remove the small clou de selle (it just helps keep the twilly folded flat while you're wrapping) and tuck the end back into place
   
   
   
   
   
6. Slightly overlapping the point where you started wrapping, pass the free end of the twilly underneath both wrapped layers and up towards your face and pull taut.
   
   
   
   
   
7. Bring the free end of the twilly (which should now be coming out of the top of the wrapped portion) down away from your face, in front of the wrapped portion

Faux Twilly Necktie, Part II


8. Adjust the large clou de selle ring so it sits level with the wrapped portion, then pass the free end of the twilly underneath the wrapped layers from bottom to top again, but do not pull it taut.

9. You should now have a small loop just under the large clou de selle twilly ring. Bring the free end of the twilly down through the loop and tighten.

10. Adjust as necessary. Done! (^(oo)^)v

writing the instructions for the twilly faux necktie got this little piggy thinking about actual tie knots!

just a regular windsor knot with a clou de selle twilly ring added to decorate the front - excellent for filling in the necklines of button-down shirts! very elongating for the neck I thought it looked like a heart shape, hence piggy is calling this the Windsor Heart!
