Instructions for twilly-bracelet - in combination with Tout en Carré twilly and Bolduc rings/charms. :flowers:

As some of you know, I got this lovely twilly, together with the charms as a surprise gift from my lovely friend Mangoblüte. :smooch:

Ever since then I've used the twilly and also the charms in several ways. Apart from wearing it as a necklace, I've now also found a lovely way to wear my gift as a bracelet. I didn't even realize, that I might have come up with something new, but upon request I've now tried to do a step by step how-to. I really had to hurry up doing this, as DH was rushing out the door, taking his beloved Leica with him, so please excuse the sort of sloppy outcome. Okay, ready? Here we go :graucho::

step 1: fold beginning of twilly in half and try to ...

step 2: ... fiddle the charms on there neatly

step 3: place twilly and charms on top of wrist.

step 6: ... wrapped around wrist at least two times (this time I did three, but that was rather tight for me to be able to tie a knot)

step 7: bring ends of twilly together and basically, you're done. But I think, if you really want everything to stay in place, you should ...

 - oops, just went back a few pages to check out some other ideas on this thread and obviously my idea is no news here. :D

Sorry, but since I got a few requests yesterday on how I did this, I thought this was kinda new - should have really known better, considering the creativity level, especially on this thread. :shame: :amuse:

Just noticed, that I'm kinda missing a pic between step 5 and step 6. :push:

No pic, but here's step 5a: after wrapping the wide side of the twilly around your wrist as often as necessary, you (carefully) place the beginning part with the charms on top of the wide part and then proceed with step 6 and 7. :smile1:

GOOD LUCK and thanks for letting me share. :smile1:

Oh Thank You for the instructions Hair-mess - now I know why mine wasn't looking at neat as yours when I did it! Mind you, maybe mine won't look quite as neat as I have the smaller, round charms! (that's my excuse anyway and I'm sticking to it!! LOL).

Looks great on your too btw!

yqian, welcome to the Hermes forum, if you spend some time reading this thread from Pg 1 onwards, you will find a lot of creative ideas on how to use a twilly. hair-mess just did a fabulous illustration on how to use it as a bracelet :)

Enjoy the thread!

When it's too warm for a sacrf like today, twillies jump in for an H fix!
Here's my orange KenC twilly with gold medor bijoux and a white enamel Clic bracelet:
