My watch is so beat up, but I love it beat up!
When I have broken my watch and sent it in for service, I specifically tell Rolex to write down clearly on the instructions "do not polish watch" as I like it as it is, with all the scratches and dents. It's my watch's journey with me through life.
The way you wear the bangle so close to the watch, a little bangle hitting the watch at 0.0005 mph is not going to do much.
I wouldn't worry. Beautiful pieces are meant to be worn. People buy $100K cars, ding them up and don't think twice because it's part of life in using that nice car. I see jewelry the same... use it and enjoy it!
If you don't mind the jingle (it would drive me nuts), I would wear it together especially since you like to stack. It looks great!
Best of all, how your watch lays in front with the bangle to the back is a perfect fit. Not too tight, not too loose.
Looks super chic on you!
I think it looks great together. Yes, it may scratch a bit, but who cares? It's your jewelry and your watch.Thank you @BigAkoya . I like your word. Crispy. You once encouraged me to consider the Daytona, which I thought would be too large. I’m surprised I am comfortable with the size of this 36, and would love a Daytona if it wasn’t so impossible to get. Although since that is such a statement watch I probably would not wear anything on the same arm. I should have such worries.
Thank you @glamourbag. I am trying to figure out whether there will be scratching. Yes, I agree with you that it should be minimal. There is only one point of contact on the side of the bezel. I am going to wear it for a day or two and loupe the watch. On my arm, it is just a gentle tapping. Although that is probably sacrilege to die hard Rolex lovers who believe nothing should touch your Rolex.
