36! I love big dials (even 40) and I think it will be amazing on you.
I agree! @EpiFanatic @eternallove4bag Go Big!
I think big watches on ladies who wear nice bling look great. It's a super cool look.
The key is to get past the "small feminine watch" look because if that's on your mind, it will look too big.
The ley is to think of it as a sporty chic fashionista look, and you will love it.

My watch is a 40mm. Even Apple watches are 40mm and 44mm.

Haha I have been having the same feelings @EpiFanatic
I have a 31 and thinking of adding a 34 or 36. Looks a tad bit big on my wrist but I was of the same thoughts that in a few years my old eyes will appreciate all the help they can get
Honestly I knew somewhere in the back of my head I would eventually need a 36 but I wanted to put that off. Last year I got two 31s and that was a huge improvement from 26. The 36 however is next level. I can see it without my multi focal contacts.

Please share what you’re considering @eternallove4bag …. Watch hunting is so fun!

@BigAkoya, I can’t argue about the benefits of the big watch. Visibility is huge. And some smaller watches don’t accommodate a date, like the smaller JLC Reversos. Only the big ones have it. How unfair is that? Practicality will always end up winning in my book. I’m learning to embrace the big watch. It will be reverse DSS, diamond shrinking syndrome, getting my eyes used to a big thing on my wrist.

If I may be so bold to suggest...
I think the Rolex Daytona in Everose with Ivory dial would be fabulous on you.
It's a bold, yet soft and clean look. No diamonds to distract from the pure beauty of the watch. This watch in Everose glows.
I have only seen this watch worn in real life on someone once (I see a lot of SS and two-tone versions), and it was stunning.

@BigAkoya, you will be the death of me, via my DH when he sees me eying this stunningly beautiful watch. I have felt Daytonas we’re just too “much” but this one is so appealing. That everose is the perfect shade of rose gold. Next to a clean white face. Perfect combo. I can see myself wearing this. I’m gonna save this gorgeous pic for my next really big bday. I’ll need the time to save up. This is not a random just popped into a store and found it purchase. (Not like that would happen anyway.)

@BigAkoya now you have my wheels turning. My struggle with VCA has been finding pieces that I wear almost daily and even if I did I am honestly running out of appendages. This gorgeous Daytona I can get behind because I can justify it for its functionality. (Sure, I keep telling myself that.) And I’ve been considering an all gold watch too. And it’s got luminescent markers. Oh boy. Wonder if this will be my next HG.

Well, if I may share my two cents...
For me, an awesome watch is the one piece every luxury brand lover needs. I wear my Daytona everyday, all day. The same darn watch. I've had it for years. It was my HG of watches that I patiently waited to arrive. When I look at it today, I still love it, and I want no other watch. I can wear zero jewelry, not even my e-ring, but I always have on my watch, without fail.

There are too many types of jewelry to truly have a HG piece. In the end, wearing different pieces of jewelry is nice because we can, but it really does not matter. We can wear the same piece over and over again... a bracelet is a bracelet. On VCA, I feel similar to you... I am trying to buy more pieces, but for me, it's all the same look to me.

From a fashion perspective, my personal opinion is the watch makes the package.
It doesn't matter what other jewelry is worn or no jewelry at all. It doesn't matter what outfit, dressy or slobby. A fabulous watch, even when worn alone, speaks volumes.

Look at men... In my profession, I work mostly with men, and after hours when we are not with clients, we take off the suits and dress like slobs to meet up for dinner (I travel a lot). Most men do not wear any jewelry. They can look like a slob, yet that one fabulous watch makes a statement.

For me, first priority would be an awesome watch.
I was on the waiting list for two years to get my Daytona. It was totally worth it. I also held out to get exactly what I wanted. A SS with black dial arrived, and it was offered to me. I passed, as I really wanted the white dial. I am so glad I passed. I truly love my old and beat up watch. It's the only watch I want. I did not even want the new black Cerachrom dial version (tried it on, too manly, passed), so I'm actually saving money by wearing the same watch over and over again.:heart:

Just my thoughts to help you decide.

@BigAkoya @glamourbag @EpiFanatic you ladies are dangerous for my wallet but you all give the best advice :hugs:

I love my 31 mm watch and it’s an elegant ladies watch no doubt but, I feel like I am now ready to try a bigger watch. I tried the 36 and fell in love with it. I tried the 41 OP and it felt huge on my wrist.

@BigAkoya i won’t lie that I haven’t thought about adding a Daytona. I even tried on the two toned YG version a few times, which is a display piece at my store. It’s a gorgeous piece and one that I really loved but it felt clumsy on my wrist, not because of it’s size as much as the heavy design. I had to make peace with the fact that I am just not ready to appreciate and own a Daytona.. yet! I was the same person who said I would go bigger than 31 MM and look at me now … so I guess with time who knows? Our tastes keep evolving with time.

@EpiFanatic I am looking at OP right now. I fell in love with two specific dial colors and am on the waiting list for one. I want to try one in 36 before ordering the second one! Gosh, who am I? I was never into watches, I still am not (I may be in denial! Lol!) but from owning one watch, now I am thinking of adding a second and even a third!

And one day @BigAkoya I will be ready for an all RG rolex. I just need to discover the size I am going to ultimately love the most and then I swoop in and get the all RG! At least that’s the plan:heart:

Let me dig up some pics of the watches I tried. I don’t believe there are any VCA pieces in those pics so I might have to post the pics in the discussion thread.

Thanks @BigAkoya - like @eternallove4bag said, I will go continue the discussion in the discussion thread.

I’m not sure it goes together so I’ve never worn this stack out but then I’m not sure what stone would go together with my watch face.
If you love it, then it goes! MOP would also work too. Your watch's dial is perfect for the two WG motif stones offered by VCA (e.g. chalcedony and MOP).

I like the chalcedony. It complements your dial as it's in the same family. Looks great!

I have always admired the Daytona but I know it’s not for me. If you don’t mind a watch that isn’t brand new, you should look at some of Rolex’ discontinued pieces. I happen to love my Pink Gold Pearlmaster and I don’t know why they recently discontinued them - it has the classic Rolex cues but it’s a bit more feminine to me. I think mine is a 34 (I have to check, I can’t remember if it’s a 34 or 36).

This looks gorgeous on you @Notorious Pink
I just added a 36MM OP and have been wearing it non-stop! I love the size although I still love 31 too.

Ditto on the Daytona btw! Love how it looks on others. On me it’s got a meh look.
