I went with the Loewe...bought it in Paris in March (before price increase). I love the dual handles. So far it is holding up ok. I hope it can last a few seasons. Now that the weather is warm it is fun to wear!

Not sure what you mean by "attempted irony" but i suppose bag could be carried carried without the logo showing. Frankly, i can't really imagine carrying a clutch as i have a few and never use. Pictured this more for use by pool at a resort or something to hold sunblock, etc. Didn't really put any thought into the logo but now that you Mentone it, I just looked in my handbag closet and came across 9 jimmy choo bags - all which have logo that is barely noticeable at all, so this was definitely a departure.Nothing against the aesthetics of this bag, but in general I really don't like having the name of the brand stitched in large block letters on the bag. I dont understand this trend nor it's aesthetics. The attempted irony is really lost on me.
I call it the Kors effect, since Michael Kors now owns Jimmy Choo! Not sure what you mean by "attempted irony" but i suppose bag could be carried carried without the logo showing. I feel like there's a trend where a designer will make a really boring plain bag and put their name on big block letters to be meta about being a designer. Like when Balenciaga designs a garbage bag made out of leather. Most brands have this now, giant block letters on square totes. In previous decades it was small logo/monogram covering the whole bag...instead of doing the monogram now, just giant name in black San serif block font. I've seen it recently on the dior rive gauche totes, ysl too, definitely all over Balenciaga, and of course Marc Jacobs...chanel has been doing it for a while. There's definitely more. Noting wrong with people liking it. I'm just not a fan personally. It's a cute clutch! Not sure what you mean by "attempted irony" but i suppose bag could be carried carried without the logo showing. While not an NYC expert (I’m DC-based, but grew up closer to NYC), September in New York tends to skew cooler and summer clothes/bags are usually put away. Any time I go in September and early October, it’s dark denim or black and light sweaters/shirts with jackets. And I typically carry a dark bag. Even in warmer months, I’m not sure I would trust white jeans in NYC; too risky as dirt magnets! Unless you’re going closer to Labor Day? My sense is you can stretch this bag longer in CA due to the weather and style/vibe than you can in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic.I have a rather large bag collection for a person who doesn’t go anywhere. I decided enough was enough and no more thousand dollar or any bags. My only bag purchase this year was a Tory Burch shoulder bag in Monogram, which I got obsessed with, but when it arrived I felt looks a lot like my LV 1854. But then, I realized I had NEVER had a summer raffia bag, so broke down when I saw this Strathberry. I’ve always had my eye on one but couldn't justify another bag. Until the raffia realization. It should arrive in two days.

Anybody have? I wonder how it will pack? I’m going to NYC in September. Where I live in CA it will still be warm but should it be put away along with white pants for NY? How long can I stretch it based on weather? I don’t get rain until around Christmas and to me it can “pass” as a regular bag through fall, at least until I see it in person. What do you think?
Every bag in this thread is gorgeous and beautiful, from high end to street corner artisan. Impressive.

Tagging @880, since she lives in NYC and has an amazing fashion sense. I’m sure she can offer an expert opinion.
The leather and the metal easily take this bag into the Fall, in my opinion.I have a rather large bag collection for a person who doesn’t go anywhere. The bag is perfect in every way. I have to say, that dress looks amazing on you! Bravo! This little Dolce & Gabbana number is one of my all-time favorite bags. I’ve had her for years and reach for her all the time in the summer. She’s lovely and the perfect size — I’m carrying sunglasses, reading glasses, and an umbrella tonight, but don’t feel like she looks bulky at all.
Casadei shoes — also a summer staple for me.

Super cute summer bag and I love the dress as well (one of my favorite colors). Glad to hear you have gotten so much use out of the bag and it still looks like it's in great shape! This little Dolce & Gabbana number is one of my all-time favorite bags.
