Here is my beautiful Mozambique Garnet I just had made. It is so hard to capture the color of this ring. I have always wanted a deep ruby red ring and have only saw one on a co-worker, it was her great-grandmothers. The setting looks like a crown. When the light catches it the ruby red comes out.

I know I'm wearing it on my left hand, but I also wear it on my right index or ring finger The ring is adjustable and by the designer Ria Charisse. I got it from a curious little store in Pasadena, CA that sells oddities from the frightening to the delightful. Their display windows are filled with gothic dress and dead beavers wearing crowns. It is a poppy ring made of 14k gold vermeil over sterling silver. I love it because it looks very organic. Anyway, here are some pics of the ring:

...it's an 18ct white gold, diamond Daisy ring by Asprey. I loved it as soon as I saw it and always feel ever so feminine when I wear it.

Does anyone else see a piece and truly lusts over it (I was completely besotted).

This is a stunner!! I've always wanted a garnet ring (it's my birthstone) but I never see any that I like. Perhaps custom is the way to go.
