ive got to admit i have no idea what it is, i know its not a real stone, as i said it wasnt expensive but its not that which matters to me, its the first proper present ive recieved that i can keep from my boyfriend and it mean ssooooo much to me!

Awww....you boyfriend is definitely a keeper!
So sweet of him, and FAB taste too!! I love the colour....reminds me a little of Tanzanite! I think it's a lovely and meaningful piece too, enjoy it in good health!

here's my bf's bday gift to me...i've been wanting this ring for a while just because of how simple, not so "bling-y" it is. It's the perfect everyday ring IMO.

I don't know the exact specs on it, but overall it's around .5 carats I think, and it's VVS diamonds :)

I usually like the smaller, finner rings, even though now I'm starting to
appreciate all of the bigger rocks as some of you ladies have modeled on this thread :graucho:

My husband and I had this thin, stacking band made for our first anniversary. 2mm palladium, with diamonds and light blue sapphires (IRL, they're more of a periwinkle color). Sapphires = September, when we were married. It's incredibly sparkly, but since the diamonds are so small, it's hard to catch the fire/sparkle on camera.

I LOVE it and can't wait for more bands to stack with it! :graucho:

Compared to all the beauties I've seen here my new baby is quite small, but here it is.
I really love vintage jewelry (especially art deco) and this is my white and yellow gold sapphire and diamond ring.

My right hand ring is actually my maternal grandmother's engagement ring from about 65 years ago. I don't think the setting's changed since then, although I'm not quite sure. I wear my grandfather's wedding ring on my left hand, as a thumb ring.

Every time I look at my hands, I smile because it's like I'm carrying their love and their story on my fingers.

Beautiful! I love this ring and the story
