I am back with some feedback on using the Plume 32 as a work bag

In sentence: it works! It easily holds everything I need, including my laptop, and when I need to carry a jacket I just put it between the handles so it doesn’t have to go inside the bag. I also like that when I don’t zip it closed (I know, but it happens…) it folds together and is less “formal”. Perhaps it is because it is toile?

I don’t think that it for me will be a bag that could crossover and be a bag for non-work activities (sightseeing, shopping, museums), because I prefer an easier shoulder or crossbody carry option for that. Also it is a little big and formal for my taste. But for work, perfect. Especially with more laidback shoes like sneakers I feel that it balances well:happydance:

And speaking of a Plume to wear outside of work - I may have bought a lovely Plume 20 for that…….

Thanks for sharing your experience! I’m on, what feels like an eternal, hunt for the perfect work bag, and I’ve been considering the plume for some time. I like the classic design and the fact that it closes completely. But like you mentioned, it can feel a little formal. Perhaps I should look for a fun color, like yours!
Please share your experience with the 20 at some point, it looks fabulous too.

Everyone’s need - and working life - is different, but I really recommend the Plume. And yes, I do believe that color and material matters.
I will get back to you on t Plume 20

Thrilled to be joining this club: managed to find a pre-loved Plume Mini II in Mysore and I’m smitten. It’s a great size for hands-free weekends out with the kids. Next I hope to add a 28 or 32 in a nice, rich brown or burgundy. Meantime, I’ll just have to ogle everyone else’s lovely Plumes.

I really like this version because the handles are proportional to the body of the bag, unlike the older model <3

Hi everyone! :-) I have two Plume 28 elan and would love to hear what your suggestions are to wear it with a shoulder strap. I mean how do you protect the leather part on the hardware ring from being rubbed from the hardware of the shoulder strap?

Love to hear your suggestions

Lovely regards, Julia

Hi all!

Sharing my new baby, the Plume Fourre-Tout 40 in Veau Butler. Interior is lined in chèvre leather. Found this gem in the Sydney store.

Haven’t seen a Plume in this size before and this leather is sooooo gorgeous & buttery soft! I can also smell the leather from across the room. Intoxicating! I hope the smell doesn’t dissipate too much too quickly haven’t heard much about butler leather except online research tells me it’s one of their heritage leathers,
Patinas over time and I’ll have to wear any scratches with pride
