Congratulations :woohoo:

Such a lovely bag in all respects

Is it a 32 or 28 this time?

It is a 28. Wanted to try this size and I think it suits the box. So 60s. I felt there would be a box Plume in my future, but I had rather thought black. But when I saw this, I so love the old-fashioned box colors (vert fonce, navy blue...). The color doesn’t really show well in the pics as it is a very dark rainy day here today (so no chance of taking it out). I am amazed at the condition too. In pics it showed more scratches, particularly at the bottom, but the biggest scratch now is one I have made myself. Inside it is like new. This was such a bargain. Surely the Plume must be the most underrated bag around...

ITA with you on the classic box colours. I have RH Box Bolide and it's TDF and precious to me even though it was also not an extravagant investment. I think we bought our Plumes in the same order (32 first and then 28). Both look quite similar in shape, that elegant rectangular form, and yes perfectly Modern. Congratulations on this one it's beautiful.

Think this used to be mine :) If so, glad that you are happy with it! Hope you will enjoy your new Plume for many years to come!

@doni and @papertiger, as you each have both the 28 and 32 plumes I wonder if you would share your thoughts about them . I’ve had a 32 (RH chamonix) but released it because I never seemed to reach for it. I’ve been considering whether the 28 might work better, or maybe it was simply my reluctance to risk chamonix in any potential wet weather. I did love the look of that bag though, the contrast stitching was everything. Sigh.

I am sure it is (recognizing the scratches) And agree, always very happy when I know that beloved Hermès companions find a new loving home with lovely TPFers who appreciate and treat them well. Makes parting a lot easier.

Aw, yes, it has to be! Isn’t that amazing! You obviously have so lovingly taken care of this bag (scratches, what scratches?!:P) and I hope I can follow up on that. It hasn’t gone too far, so not much of a shock for the little Plume. I already adore this bag, but knowing this, it will be even more special to me!

The pics really make no justice to it, have to take better ones in sunlight.
