The size and shape of this clutch is just absolutely perfect! Also the silver is great colour for my always so (too?) black outfit.

Yours is a little different....Mine has panels of the longer scales, and mine is the "mercurio" color (a bit more bronze than silver). I'm not sure which one I like better. Both are gorgeous!

I never get tired of looking yours, your "pittone clutch"-thread is one of my favourites!
I got my beauty in January, directly from Italy. I really love how it feels, and the silver reflects other colours so nicely. Neiman Marcus had this version on sale, that's where (their webpage) I found the colour. Sadly there is no Ferragamo boutique in my country and of course they didn't have this model on their e-shop, so I sent them email asking if I had any chance to get this clutch, and they put this on their webpage for half an hour so I could make the order! How cool and amazing and absolutely great customer service is that!?
But funny thing is, that this silver one was also called "Mercurio".. :wondering (Sorry for getting a bit OT)

It's very cute. Patchwork works really well on exotics, they were usually less expensive when new but in terms of longevity they are really excellent.

I have a vintage ostrich bag. Can be used as a shoulder bag, handbag, or tuck everything inside and carry as a clutch. No brand, inside says Cape Town.
